A rather funky civil war era living museum. If high end hotels are your thing you may not like this. But if you're looking for something off the beaten path that's fun, interesting, even educational, this is the place to be.
The property and the manager, Katherine, were both - in a word - enticing. The property is rich in history from the Civil War. Katherine’s knowledge of the property’s history is exceeded only by her passion for it. Next time I go back to Niagara FallsI shall stay at Aaron House and enjoy more time chatting with its wonderful manager!
You should too! 😄

Disliked: Cleanliness
The area was so run down that we did not feel it would be safe for us or our vehicle. The surrounding buildings were boarded up. We felt it was not worth the risk so we choose not to stay.
Katherine is very knowledgeable about the history of the house and area. She pointed us to attractions and eating places we wouldn't have known about. Truly walking distance to many of the Falls sights.
Aaron House of the Niagara Falls: Quaint, comfy, Historical, Wonderful!
We’re we’re greeted by an inviting porch with comfy couches & plenty of blankets for cool nights. The owner met us inside with a tour of the 1860’s house. You could tell the labor of love that went into the ongoing renovations as it was shared with us. It was meticulously clean and comfortable. We were made to feel like more than guests . . . more like family!! Breakfast is available, on request. So much interesting history!!
The house is rich in history and charm. Katherine is an excellent host. She puts her heart in celebrating the history. She is also very helpful with tips and suggestions of the surrounding area:
Well done!
We Loved the history of the Home. Tour was great. Katherine is the best Host. Never had anyone greet us as she did. The location is great. Could walk to Niagara, and everywhere, or take the shuttle. Great local restaurants close by.
We loved the bed and breakfast experience, and the location near the Falls and other places of interest was excellent. Our hostess was very welcoming and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The house itself is full of history and special stories. We hope to come back some day!
First time to Niagara Falls! We were not disappointed! Beautiful park. As for our stay at the Aaron House, very relaxing and Katherine was a most gracious hostess. She was informative about the area and a delightful person to have conversation with. Loved our stay!! Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were looking for something different and the Aaron House delivered. Katherine was fabulous in getting us acclimated to her BnB and her yourtube tour was top notch. We loved all the quirkiness and history of the house and truly enjoyed our stay.
Katherine is a gem, the location is very close to everything you want to see and do at Niagara Falls. The house it self tells a story of the times with Katherine as your personal guide! Great food, great times, excellent experience!
