This house was absolutely great! Lots of space, great kitchen, WiFi and entertainment options for the kids. The property is very private and there are water views from the house and the dock is just down the hill from the house. You don't need to travel far for fresh seafood and fantastic Maine views!
Gorgeous view and landscaping surround this spacious timber frame home. Great location near Cundy’s Harbor for relaxing and only 15-20 minutes from Brunswick for groceries etc. Kitchen is well equipped for enjoying lobster and steamers at home. Close enough to Portland and Boothbay for a day trip but hard to leave this beautiful location.
We had such a wonderful stay! The house was fully equipped with anything we could think of. It was so nice to just land with our personal belongings and not have to think of anything else. The listing pictures were extremely accurate and the outdoor area was stunning! The walk down to the dock is very steep, so just something to be mindful of if you have anyone in your family with physical limitations. We have stayed at many rental properties in Maine and this was the most well managed and stocked. Such a pleasure. Thanks for a beautiful stay!
Very nice house in a great wooded location on the water. Everything was high quality. Loved that it was secluded yet close to Brunswick and lots of good (seafood) restaurants. Would highly recommend.
Nice timber frame house. Extremely well equipped kitchen.
Very steep wooded path to nice dock, good for sitting or swimming. Lots of windows for good ventilation.
The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. There were many books, DVD's, games, etc. available. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cook wear, cutlery, etc. Area is nice - be sure to stock up on mosquito repellant!
I love the fact that some trees were taken down. Would be awesome to have an unobstructed view of the water. The house itself was Awesome. Had everything we needed, Especially for cooking Lobster. That should be highlighted as past vacations I have brought my own pot with propane burner.
We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations as you can see by the 5 star review. They supplied all paper items from Kleenex to paper towels. Had a fully stocked kitchen and everything to barbecue with. View was beautiful. I asked our daughter in law about ratings and she said I would give them a 5 star for everything. Was a great location and really enjoyed exploring the Harpswell area. Much to do and see. Enjoyed a few fires in the beautiful fireplace also. There was even a cooler that we used daily to take water with. Thanks for the memories
This house is wonderful! Beautiful views, convenient location, quiet neighborhood. The house is great - a big, open floorplan with a fantastic, huge stone fireplace right in the middle. A very workable kitchen, extremely well outfitted for cooks like us. The master bedroom suite is huge and comfortable, and the other bedrooms are nice as well. The house is probably the best outfitted one we've ever had in our many VRBO type houses. They even had fat wood, lots of paper, kindling and a ton of dry firewood to make it easy to have fantastic fires. Charcoal was provided for the barbecue. Anything we needed was there. We had a couple of issues while we were there (e.g., the oven had problems), and the management company was incredibly responsive and immediately, and with great concern, took care of them. We would highly recommend this house!
What an AMAZING property! The pictures are accurate but don't give you the cozy feel that this house offers. We arrived well after dark but had no trouble finding the location. Ample room for 6 adults and so much space to hang out and play cards or just visit. Great DVD selection in the loft with more games available. Good WiFi, we watched a scary movie then walked down to the dock around midnight to take pictures of the full moon.
Great kitchen with everything we needed! The beds are comfy as well. The outside patio was so nice to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee early in the morning. It's SO quiet. No car noise, just the squirrels and birds!
The town of Brunswick is nearby with lots of great restaurants and breweries. You're an easy drive to Portland and only 2 1/2 hours from Acadia. We loved the location! If you're looking for literally the best seafood around, go to Sundrenched which is just over the bridge on Bailey Island. The staff was amazing and our group agreed that everything was delicious!
What else can I say? We are already talking about our next trip to Maine.
