About this property

Beach House with large deck & ocean views!

Long View is a 3 bedroom home with sweeping ocean views! The house can comfortably accommodate 7 guests with three bedrooms and an open living space including a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. In addition to the full bathroom in the home there is a private outdoor shower on the side of the house.
The spacious back deck offers views of the ocean and salt pond adjacent to the home. The deck has a gas grill and comfortable outdoor furniture to enjoy lounging and dining.
Guests will have access to the walk-in basement to store large items such as beach chairs, kayaks and bikes!

The house is located on Ocean Ave in Matunuck, RI. From the home you are walking distance to East Matunuck State Beach and Deep Hole Fishing Area - known for it's surf break! Local businesses close to the home include a small market with full deli, farm stand, ice cream shop, surf shop, pizza place, laundry mat and two restaurant bars with ocean views and live entertainment.

We ask guests to bring their own linens - this includes sheets/pillow cases and towels. We provide quilts and pillows for all beds. The house has two queen beds, one full and one twin top bunk.

Great vacation home

This is an absolutely perfect vacation home. The location is convenient to beaches, restaurants, etc. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to East matunuck beach. We had a terrific week of relaxation and will definitely book this house again!!

The house was lovely, comfortable and clean. Great location. Within walking distance to the beach, only 20 minutes from The Nordic and just a bit further to Newport. Loved being able to hear the ocean from the house. It was so relaxing. We will definitely stay here again.

Cosy cottage, great views and location

Owners were very responsive to a couple of issues that came up. Great deck with sea view and lovely living/dining room. Bedrooms are on the smaller side, but beds very comfy. Moderate walk to the beach. Overall very enjoyable stay for four of us and a dog.

Everything that's needed in a well-designed small house.

A wonderful stay at this compact yet comfortably pleasing and impeccable cottage. We were there in the early winter with rain and wind, but the heat pump system kept us warm. And the sunrises over the salt marsh pond were just lovely. We did not sit outside on the generous deck because of the temperature, but we can imagine it is glorious on a summer day.
