Renovated vineyard house in Langeac, nature and hiking
An hour from Clermont-Ferrand and close to the A75 on the Allier Gorges, lies the village of Langeac. Not far from the town, perched on a small hill on the edge of the woods is this charming, renovated vineyard house. Here, you'll experience a relaxing break surrounded by nature in a truly warm and carefully decorated cocoon.
This unique location is well worth the effort! To get there, the path is not passable in wet weather, so you may have to walk the last 150 meters. Once there, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking view of the valley, the countryside, and the surrounding forests!
On-site activities: Relaxation and nature observation, walks or hikes departing from the cottage (near the Camino de Santiago de Compostela trail, among other things).
Nearby: The village of Langeac (all shops), whitewater activities on the Allier, fishing, tourist train...
A little further afield: the village of Saugues, full of legends, Brioude and its basilica, listed as a historic monument, the town of Le Puy-en-Velay and its numerous UNESCO World Heritage monuments... Set on approximately 3 hectares of land, this former vineyard house has a ground floor converted into a living room with a kitchenette. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two beds (one on a mezzanine, ceiling height 1 m) and a shower cubicle with direct access to the outside. A dry toilet is located about 20 meters from the house. This accommodation is equipped with a solar panel system that powers a battery, making it self-sufficient in terms of electricity consumption. Therefore, special care should be taken not to forget to turn on lights or leave electrical appliances running for too long.
Services offered: bed linen, towels, and towels.
Please note: access to the upper floor and the mezzanine is via a very steep staircase. This accommodation is therefore not suitable for young children or people with mobility difficulties.
