Carpenter Family Trust
About Carpenter Family Trust
We have lived in the Klamath Basin since 1991. We have been actively involved in natural resource issues, construction and guide and outfitting. Most recently we finalized a 7 year project, 'Creating A Sense of Arrival' with the remodel of a Visitor Center for the City of Klamath Falls to showcase our beautiful downtown, trail system and waterfront area. This 'One Stop' location offers visitors and locals a place to get information about our area from the Chamber of Commerce and Discover Klamath. Other tenants include Klamath County Economic Development, the Hombuilders Association, Watershed Partnership and Ducks Unlimited. We are recipients of the City of Klamath Falls 'Green Pelican Award' and US Fish & Wildlife Wetlands Conservation Award.
Carpenter Family Trust purchased this House in 1996
Why Carpenter Family Trust chose Klamath Falls
We built our home in this very special location because it is on the waterfront and centrally located.

This house has very nice lake view as shown in the pictures. We saw a river otter living in front of the house and a pelican plus many birds during our 5-night stay in July. We also saw deer in the neighborhood several times. We had a very pleasant stay.
The following are some small caveats. There are many bugs and mosquitoes outside the house. Maybe this is the drawback for living at lake front. Thus, I didn’t go to the deck area. We were careful when going in and out of the house, not to let mosquitoes in. When we came back to the house on one night, there were so many bugs on the glass door, attracted by the light inside, which was a bit scary. Fortunately we didn’t encounter mosquitoes inside the house. Some of the window screens seemed to be a bit worn out, so we closed the windows at night to prevent mosquitoes coming in. The house has many large windows, so it could get a bit warm in the summer, but it didn’t really bother us. Besides, the master bedroom on the 2nd floor doesn’t have a door, and only has curtains for the privacy. In addition, the WiFi was sometimes slow.
In spite of these small issues, overall this is still a great house rental.
Thank you for your review & we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Living on the water in the riparian zone has its challenges. Mother nature can be buggy. We do mitigate with a pet safe outdoor service during the summer months. We will recommended that guests keep outdoor lights off during the evening hours.

We were in town for our son’s graduation from OIT. We had many tasks to accomplish before the ceremony and Stephanie’s property provided us with a calm and serene environment after a long day. Wonderful place!

Bird lovers Delight
We walked in and the first thing is the water the Birds sitting on the dock and all we needed was a cold beer. The kitchen made it easy for us to stay in. The view made it easier...loved it
The house is so user friendly. Even if the weather is inclement one can have a birds eye view from the livingroom, kitchen & master bedroom as the front of the house is a wall of glass with 4 sliding doors and screens.
