Enjoy 'The Magic of Maui!' on the beautiful beaches of Kaanapali (West Maui)

One-bedroom, one-bath, oceanfront condo. Here you will find spectacular views, breathtaking sunspaces, as well as an incredible marine display by our native Humpback Whales. Our centralized, yet tranquil location allows you to be involved with the many island activities, while still allowing you the relaxation you deserve in paradise.

Enjoy the comforts of home; our unit includes a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer, television, Wi-Fi internet connection, free local and long-distance telephone (U.S. & Canada), free parking, and air conditioning. Also included, beach towels, tennis racquets, and putters! This condo sleeps 4. Relax on a king size bed in the Master bedroom, or wake up to the ocean on a queen size sleeper sofa in the front room.

This unit is on the 3rd floor of the L Building and nothing will sit between you and the view of the ocean; it is one 1 of 3 truly oceanfront buildings at the Papakea. Enjoy Maui’s famous sunset from the comfort of your very own private lanai.

The Papakea Resort has so much to offer its guests: outdoor shuffleboard, tennis courts, an 18-hole putting green, two pools, two large hot tubs, 12+ BBQ’s, etc. Not to mention, if you like to get up to see Maui’s beautiful sunrise, you can put your toes in the water and enjoy a walk along the reef that sits in front of this condo.

We take great pride in our second home in Maui, and look forward to sharing it and its many beauties with you.

We really enjoyed our stay! Papakea is a great location and resort. We saw sea turtles in the water almost every morning, rainbows and amazing sunsets from the lanai. We were very comfortable at the condo, although it could use some updating as previous reviews mentioned. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the beach gear, the bed was super-comfortable. Loved our time on Maui!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful sunsets, whales on the balcony, and the best location!! Only thing I wished is that we had more beach towels! Otherwise our trip was an absolute dream! We loved the resort, definitely recommend!

Location is immense

The beach front property was beautiful. Watching the sun set and whales from the balcony was a total highlight of our holiday! The aircon kept the place lovely, cool and comfortable! We would definitely stay here again.

Best apartment we’ve stayed in Maui

The property is amazing - direct ocean view, quiet and super comfortable. It has everything we needed, even beach chairs and coolers! Kitchen is very well equipped and the bed is soo comfy! We love Papakea in general, but would stay in a his condo always in the future ☺️

We had a great time at a super resort, in an oceanfront condo with an amazing unobstructed view. The unit met the VRBO description. The condo is somewhat dated (kitchen cabinets, bathroom, and the carpet in the living area and bedroom). Still, the unit was clean, and a terrific option when looking for a Kaanapali vacation spot.spot.spot.scleanVRBOas photos.

First trip to Maui

Loved our stay. The condo was prefect for me and my husband. It had everything we needed. And the bed was very comfortable. The sunsets were beautiful and you feel like you are on the ocean. The swimming pool was relaxing and could see the ocean from the pool. We differently will stay here again.

Beautiful View!!

This condo was amazing. There was only one item that needs to be improved and that is the mattress. It needs to be replaced. The left side sinks, it is extremely uncomfortable. The condo was clean, well equipped, and you can't beat the view as it is amazing!! Thank you!!

Skip the crowds at the family friendly property.

Tons of equipment available for our us. Friendly, quite atmosphere . The unit was even better than expected. Great views from lanai. Quick to answer questions. If given the opportunity, I would definitely book here again. Mahalo!

A beautiful view and location!

This is our 5th time staying at Papakea Resort. Our room had a wonderful oceanfront view. We enjoyed seeing whales tails, fin slapping and breaching from active humpback whales, dolphins, sea turtles and even watched a sleepy monk seal taking a nap on the shore. The room was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. What made this visit extra fun, the owner had a lot of recreational things to use, such as coolers, snorkel gear, golf clubs, tennis rackets, binoculars and more! Thank you Gina for sharing your wonderful condo with others. We will be back! 😊

Gina was very good to deal with. We had to leave the unit unexpectedly and Gina was excellent about our having to go early. She was more concerned about us having a great vacation compared to worrying about $$$ lost. This ensured that if we are able to get to the area again, that Gina will certainly be someone I will reach out to. I could not have been happier to deal with someone like her. The property itself is awesome and quite quiet in terms of overall people. This was a nice attraction. The place came as advertised and the bed in the master was very comfortable. There was good stock of supplies in the unit as well and the scenery from the balcony was incredible. Thanks Gina for accommodating us!
