Large beautiful oceanview home, 5 min walk to downtown

Welcome to the beach!! You will feel right at home at the Sea Glass Cottage!

On the ground level you will find two enclosed garages on either side of the foyer. On one side you have access to beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, games, beach cart, and plenty of storage. In the other garage is a pop-a-shot basketball game, foosball table and darts for some indoor fun. To the side of the garage is a large outdoor shower with great water pressure and adjustable temperature. There is also a cargo elevator to help bring your bags and groceries to the upper levels (not suitable for transporting people).

On the first level you will find 4 spacious queen bedrooms, each with its own Roku TV and luxury bedding. There are two full bathrooms with large shower heads and bathtubs. Each bedroom on this floor has an ocean or a sound view.

When you come up to the second level you will be thrilled with the incredible views from the open concept living area surrounded by bead board walls and coastal furnishings. A 75 inch flat screen is also in the living area with connected tv, and DVD player.

The kitchen area is beautiful with white cabinets, black granite, and stainless appliances. A bar surrounds the kitchen with six barstools and a cottage table that also seats six. There is a laundry room off of the kitchen with large capacity high efficiency washer and dryer, along with a pantry.

In the master suite, located off the main floor living area, you will find a king bed and enjoy the newly renovated spa like shower and walk in closet.

On the third level you will be astonished by the ocean and sound views from your deck complete with chairs and lounge chair, perfect for tanning. There is a 50 inch flat screen and den area great for tv or video games. An Xbox 360 with games are set up for your enjoyment! Just off of this living area is a bedroom with two twin beds and full bath.

Guests will be delighted with the beach access located in front of our cottage. The quiet street is perfect for family walks and biking. Beach bike rentals, surf boards and anything you may need are just around the block. Our cottage is within walking distance of a grocery store and incredible restaurants. Sea glass hunters and seashell seekers will be in heaven on this soft sand, expansive beach.

This house was great! The amount of space, the views, and the amenities were fabulous. When Katie stated there was little we needed t bring, she was not exaggerating! Everything we needed for a week at the beach was there at the house. The rooms were all nice sizes, and clean. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful long weekend with family

The house was perfect for our family size. I would say that it needs a few improvements and a good spring cleaning but other than that it was great. Location is perfect and all the porches are perfect for taking in the view and beach air. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was wonderful for our large group, and the host Katie was awesome to work with. Unfortunately our stay was cut short, due to tropical storm Debby, but Katie helped ease the pain by refunding the nights we couldn't stay. Would definitely go back to this house again!

We stayed here for our 3rd trip to Surf City and had an amazing time. The house was perfect for our group of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids aged 4-12). The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of towels, umbrellas, chairs, shovels, buckets, and even a beach wagon that made our beach trips so easy. The beach access is literally across the street, outdoor shower was perfect for getting off sand. Communication with the host was quick, easy, and pleasant! We will absolutely book here again!

Amazing week

We loved our stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and has more than you could need for a week at the beach. Katie was so easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We will definitely be returning! The only think that was a little difficult are the amount of stairs that my 72 year old mom had to climb!

First Trip to Topsail and we loved it!

We loved staying at the Sea Glass Cottage for our first trip to Topsail. The home is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you could need- a huge bonus not to have to bring everything from home. Loved the view of the ocean from the kitchen and porch and the convenience of getting to the beach from the home. Katie was wonderful and very responsive to questions or any issues. Another amazing beach week at The Sea glass Cottage

Wonderful Week

My family and I stayed at the sea glass cottage this past week. This property is great and has all the necessary amenities and more! The information given in the digital guide provided was a nice head start to take out any guess work. Any questions were quickly answered. The only delay was on my end as it was extremely easy to forget about your phone and enjoy the beach with your family. Would highly recommend!

Great location with thoughtful accommodations

Just across the street are the stairs to the beach, makes back and forth with littles very easy. Bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. The common area is a bit tight for a larger group (we had 12), but due to the layout it worked. House is well stocked and very clean. Furnishings are nice but not so nice that they make you nervous. We hadn’t been to Topsail before but the laid back nature and fewer crowds makes it a solid contender with OBX. Cute restaurants and shops are indeed a 5 min walk from the property. The owners have provided every type of beach gear you’d ever need

Johnson Topsail Vacation

The property definitely exceeded our expectations. We have been vacationing at Topsail for 50 years. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was well beyond equipped. Beach towels, beach chairs, all kitchen appliances, linens, and fun games. The only recommendation I have for the house is higher guardrails on the top level deck. The view is gorgeous from this level, but I would be uncomfortable with kids (small and big) around the guardrails.

Great Beach House!!

This is a well-maintained home and has everything you need. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. The house is as-described. The 4 bedrooms downstairs are all about the same size. There’s a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom between two of the bedrooms and a hallway bathroom between the other two (with a door that accesses a bedroom). The outdoor shower is probably the nicest I’ve ever seen. Everything was clean upon our arrival. Kitchen has a nice big fridge that we all wished we had in our own homes. Another great stay in Surf City!!

Family Gathering

The Sea Glass Cottage was perfect for our family that gathered from around NC nd Tx. There were 5 couples so the king and 4 queens suited us. The young men grandsons rotated in and out of the suite on the third floor which had twins, bathroom and sitting room equipped with games. Since we had lots of cooks, both men and women, the well equipped kitchen was a dream. Last of all the view was spectacular even one row back. It was a wonderful week. Our homeowner was very prompt answering questions and concerns.
