A wonderful stay. Perfect sized and well equipped Casita nestled in a private well maintained tropical setting complete with a beautiful pool and grilling area. Short walk to the ocean, short ride to grocery stores and restaurants
All in all it was exactly what we needed. We don’t spend a lot of time “staying” in our unit, so it was perfect. We had a couple of small issues during the stay (wi-fi, hot water, AC) but Tina the property manager was extremely responsive and handled everything as quickly as possible. Property is located 3 blocks from the beach, and is accessible to everything! If you want a comfortable spot to sleep and regroup, highly recommend!
This is wonderful place to spend time. The casita Tucan, the pool and beautiful garden are great.
A small paradise, conceived with taste and love. Nice pool, nice BBQ, nice everything. Thank you Sarah.

Panama visit
The accommodation was well presented. Staff and management very friendly and helpful.Best part of the stay was meeting new people and friends from around the world.
Excellent efficiency condo, directly on beach. Accurate pictures, clean, easy check-in. Host is excellent communicator and very helpful. Location to restaurants and groceries walkable. It would be a 5-star rating from me except the first few days had a sewage smell in the evenings / night. This was apparently a building issue and did get fixed but diminished the overall stay.
Great pool and outdoor setting. It was nice to have access to a washing machine after more than a week of travelling. You really need a was to a car or at least a golf (which is available on site) as Coronado is so spread out. It’s a gated community and definitely attracts an older demographic (like is!).
From great communication before we got there, to a friendly face while we were on site, Sarah made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful time while we were in Panama. It was our first adventure out of the USA, and with her guidance we had a ride scheduled as soon as we landed, and reliable transportation either by using her local contacts or renting her SUV while onsite. The location is minutes from the beach and local restaurants. If we didn't want to drive, there supermarkets and restaurants within a 15 - 20 minute walk. We are already talking about returning to Panama, though we just got back a few days ago, and we will definitely be contacting Sarah for the next time.

My experience in Panama Coronado
fire for several days allowing the smoke to continue to impact the property for days. Long distance to local store and restaurants. Power outages are frequent and anoying
We loved our stay in Casa Rana at Panama Sarahs Casitas. It was just as described: a comfortable bed, a beautiful kitchen, a lovely pool and garden, friendly staff and a great location! We found the buses and cabs easy to get around in. We had a lot of laughs with the other casa residents and made some new friends. Sarah was funny, friendly and so willing to help in any situation. We had to leave early due to a family emergency and Sarah changed all of our travel arrangements for us when I wasn't even sure where to start. She made a stressful situation easier to bear. We can't wait to return!

Small Casita
We stayed in the tiny Toucan Casita for a week, and found it adequate. The kitchen arrangement we found to be inconvenient, situated as it is on the patio of the main house which was occupied by other guests at the time, around whom we had to walk en route. We enjoyed the gardens and the pool area, which are nicely laid out and well maintained. The property enjoys a good location, with easy access to the beach and country club. Since PayPal was the only payment option we did not appreciate being charged for the PayPal fee.

Average
The outdoor (garden and pool) are the highlight of the place. Casitas are just about average, kitchen needs improvement. Frequent long power and internet interruptions related to weather. Hardly any tv choices for English speaking guests. Needs many improvements.

Seaside Bohemian Chic Retreat….
My fiancée and I stayed 3 nights in the main house and had a wonderful holiday!
Thanks to Sarah’s dedication to providing exemplary customer service, the entire travel experience was seamless from start to finish.
Sarah has decorated her unique property with Caribbean art and accessories that she has acquired during her many travels which conveys a comfortable, bohemian vibe. The casitas are fully equipped and for those workaholics who desire to connect to the outside world via internet while on holiday will be delighted with the high speed internet connection. We never even bothered to turn on the TV!
The landscaping and pool is gorgeous! We lounged for hours in the hammock and patio which has an outdoor kitchen. The secluded beach is a 10 minute walk and golf courses, restaurants, bars as well as a 24hr super market and bus stop with frequent service to Panama City is located conveniently nearby. Ideally, a car rental would be an enhancement to explore the lovely area.
The casitas are self-catering, but Vilma and Luis, the live in caretakers who stay in their own Casita in front of the property, are available for extra services if needed. They are wonderful to engage in conversation if you want to find more about Panamanian culture.
It’s the perfect place to unwind!

Sarah Booth's Casitas in Coronado, Panama
If you're looking for a truly relaxing location, you have to stay here, because the pool and surrounding gardens are fabulous and the casitas are clean and comfy. We stayed in Casita Tortuga, the newest, and it's bed was comfy, the bathroom and shower clean and spacious, and the flat screen TV with cable sharp and reliable. We could actually imagine living in Tortuga.
Our casita has a door to a fully furnished kitchen—microwave, coffee maker, stove and oven, large refrigerator, double sink, and plates, glasses, cutlery, and silverware. Two casitas share this kitchen, but ours was adjacent to it. If you stay in Toucan, the casita that overlooks the garden and pool, you'll have to walk about 15 feet under the covered walkway to the kitchen. Right, like that's inconvenient! Not!!!
I'm sitting at a table that seats six comfortably on the outdoor porch that overlooks the garden and pool. It's a bit of heaven here.
The wifi is reliable and robust. In fact, I'm sitting outside writing this review listening to the doves coo.
What you need if you stay here is a car, because it's too far to walk to the major stores or restaurants.
Sarah has two caretakers on the property. They don't speak English, but with a smile and gestures they make you feel right at home.
We stayed in a variety of places, from a four star hotel to a backpackers hostel, but this was our favorite place during our three week visit to Panama.
Our casita was ready when we arrived, even though we had to arrive early due to some transportation issues. Our unit (Toucan) was really a very large studio, but it suited exactly what we needed. A king bed, a decent sized closet and a small kitchen with a table, stove and modest sized fridge, much larger than a dorm fridge but not a 25 cu ft unit. The stove was a full up four burner stove and oven. The stove worked fairly well but the burners were either on or off. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans and cooking utensils. There were a variety of plates, bowel, glasses and utensils there. I'd suggest a stop at either El Rey or Super 99 to get a few things like tea, coffee, butter and such. Get in, unpack and look at the kitchen. Call Dagoberto (or have Diana call him). Whatsapp is heavily used in Panama and is the best way to communicate. Use Google translate to cut&paste your requests and the replies. Taxis are cheap, $3-4 for most destinations. Uber is also available but not reliable as to when. There are a number of restaurants a short taxi away and some in walking distance. We rented a golf cart for a day but probably should have just used a taxi.
There's a washer there but the dryer is solar and wind powered, ie a clothes line. The water is fine and we had no concerns drinking it anywhere. At the grocery store buy local or pay 50-100% more for American brands, although some American brands are made locally.
Bring lots of $1 and $5 bills.

Losing faith in other reviews
This review isn't personal, in fact, everyone we met at this property was kind hearted and genuinely wanted us to have a good time. That wasn't to be the case though, by day 2, we were questioning how this rental received so many good reviews and by day 13, following nearly 2 weeks of constant construction and having experienced the general state of disrepair, we were counting the days until we could leave. We stayed in Tortuga, which was 195 sq ft of living area, separated from a tiny 15 x 6 foot ensuite kitchen. Because the kitchen door was open to the outside, the interior door had to be closed to provide AC for the living area, turning the kitchen into a sweltering hot box with no room for meal prep on the 3 sq ft of countertop you could find. Being open to the outside also meant that the construction dust covered the kitchen daily and was only cleaned once in the first 2 weeks of our stay. The kitchen sink also leaked onto the floor when we arrived and after an attempt to fix it, we were asked to use only the half that didn't leak until repairs could be made. No further attempt was made so I took the pipes apart myself and adjusted the gaskets, re-secured the fitting and resolved the problem. The problems of dull knifes, no storage containers, tin foil, zip lock bags, or cling wrap we also addressed on our own. This kitchen was not suitable for more than a short stay where your only requirement is toast for breakfast or heating something in the microwave. Once you did make dinner, you found yourself sitting on the bed to eat because the dining table is crammed between the bed and the wall, directly under the tv. The outdoor grounds were nice, the pool is large and comfortable but the seating choices were few, especially after I rounded up the 4 chairs that were broken, presenting safety risks for anyone sitting in them. Like the outdoor shower, fountain, pool umbrellas, grill, table and chairs in the Pagoda and the washing machine, they were added to the list of things to be repaired with the all too common refrain about this being Panama and things happening in their own time. The little community of Playa Coronado wasn't much better, limited restaurants of various quality, lots of litter, beautiful beaches that are devoid of people and shade, useless for fishing or snorkeling but with plenty of jellyfish and stingrays. The town at the intersection has everything you need for a short stay and is easily accessible by local bus or taxi.
This place was very quaint and affordable. It was just what we needed after spending time in the city. I love the meditation garden and pool. The beach was in walking distance and our host was flexible and accommodating.
This casita was everything that was promised. We stayed in the bachelor unit which features a bedroom/ living area with a small kitchen and private bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make full meals.
The outside area is beautiful! Features a pool with waterfall and many different seating areas (2 of which are covered). There’s also a barbecue to use, ping pong table and hammocks. You couldn’t ask for a better oasis of you are looking for some rest and relaxation!
5 min walk to the ocean
Everything here was as advertised. The check-in was flawless. The owner set up a WhatsApp group chat so nothing was over-looked. The on-site property managers were prompt, and spoke both English and Spanish, which was very helpful. The accommodations have been recently updated and the casitas were spotless. The best part was the pool and the grounds. Just beautiful. Thanks Sarah, Carlos and Luisa. We will be back for sure.
We were looking for R&R after a rough 3 months and the Toucan Casita delivered. Peaceful, well equipped and a short walk to the beach. Available golf cart let us explore some. A $4 taxi gets you to restaurants or great grocery store.
