We do have occasion to have a few spiders in the house it is unavoidable you are in the woods. We do spray for them and bomb under the house which keeps them down. We will have a package of coffee, sugar and creamer for you (under most circumstances) below the coffee pot. We have a bumper pool table that “triples” as a card, and dining table. Pool balls are in the drawer by the sofa. In the mud room you will find a Foosball table for hours of fun with the washer and dryer. We have a propane BBQ! The machine is a High Efficiency and requires very little soap because our water is very soft and the machine can over suds. During cold months where freezing temperatures are expected the washer will be winterized and is not to be used. The freeze will break the pipes and pump in the washer. A note will be left on the washer door indicating it has been winterized. The dryer can be used though. there is a laundromat in town next to the Market. Wildlife abounds in the area with several lakes are within a 15-minute drive for trout fishing. Hunters are welcome! The Black River also runs year-round for great fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing. Alpine is an excellent area for cross country skiing or snow shoeing - so bring your gear. There are other games in the front deck bin. Please put away when done. The cabin, being built in 1968 is a little noisy and sound does travel. Fans are in each room for circulation and noise reduction. We have just put new laminated flooring in, and it is beautiful! The bedrooms have skylights with shutters if you like it dark. The cabin does get mice it is unavoidable. If one is found in the trap, please throw the mouse and trap away. NO PETS ALLOWED! Smoking and vaping are allowed outside only. (During extreme fire danger please smoke in the car) Please do not throw your butts in the yard it could cause a fire. A coffee can painted red on the porch will be provided. Please empty it prior to leaving. No Vaping is allowed in the house. Quiet Time starts at 10pm. Neighbors sleep with the windows open so we ask you to keep it quiet at that time so that you do not disturb their sleep. These products do not break down and will cause a backup. There is no recycling in Alpine, if you wish to recycle bring it home with you please. On Tuesday evening bring all your trash to the blue trash can along the driveway. Then place the can on the road so it can be picked up on Wednesday. After picking up please replace the trash can back to where you found it. Thank you! The driveway is not real steep, but it is long. If you are renting in the winter and the driveway needs to be plowed due to high snow, then the fee for plowing of the driveway is $150 each time the driveway needs to be plowed. 4-wheel drive is also recommended during the winter. We are not responsible if you cannot get up to the house due to snow and ice.

Wonderful place, cozy clean cabin at a great location next to national forest with wildlife viewing all around. We had much relaxation and fun inside and outside the cabin. Would definitely come back again!
Beautiful cabin, my son absolutely loved sitting in the swing every morning and watching the animals play. Owners always accessible and responded quickly when questions asked. Cabin very accommodating for two families and children. Amazing stay, will reserve again!

We pride ourselves with a clean place. We love renting to hunters. Your welcome back any time.
Everything was as expected. We were looking for privacy and comfort, met all our expectations. Our son loved the games and the pines were perfect. We did a hike based on the book in the cabin.

It makes us happy to have guests that enjoy themselves. We are happy to share such a great place. Thanks for renting!
Cabin is just outside of town of Alpine with a few neighbors but feels pretty remote. Very short drive to all the major attractions. Has lots of stuff to do at cabin for all ages, including a nice trail right out the back door.

Our hiking trail behind the cabin is so fun. In the evening you can find some deer and elk if you are quiet.
This is the second year my husband, sister and I rented this cabin. It’s in a beautiful area with lots of trees, a great trail for hiking/biking and has everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

Communication is important when renting. Glad you had fun. We love it up there and want to stay all summer but real life a calls. We are happy to rent to have other experience such a beautiful place.
FAB-U-LOUS. Lots of games, activities and crafts for my 8 and 10 year old. They were NEVER bored! Beautiful home, easy to figure out lights/heat/breakers. Good access and parking, even with a UTV and trailer. Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 kids that were in our party, could’ve easily gotten 2 more people in without feeling cramped. Washer and dryer were a Godsend. Loved the front porch for kicking back. Great experience!
Well stocked-appointed true log cabin. Large dining-living room & kitchen. Great front porch and grill & neighborhood. Would definitely rent again in the future. We stayed a week this visit.

Our housekeeper does and excellent job. We want everyone to have a pleasant stay in an imaculate place. Please rent again!
Cabin is beautiful, comfortable, has everything you need. We stayed 11 days there and wanted to stay longer. Scott and Mel the owners provided what we asked for and more ! I highly recommend anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in the Alpine area to book here. Thanks Scott and Mel .
Perfect location with plenty of room for our multi generational family of six.
We appreciated all the special extra touches and thought put into our stay.
Not only was the property clean, it had every amenity from the fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture including rocker recliners, a large table for up to 10 people, spacious deck with grill, fire pit and so much more.
Easy for our 81 year old father to maneuver as there are no stairs to get in the rear entrance and having a full bath and bedroom on the first floor was perfect.
Thanks again Scott for sharing your sweet property. We can't wait to come back.

Glad you liked our beautiful Cabin. We make every effort to anticipate our guests needs. Thanks for renting.
First off the pictures do no justice. We spent a week in the cabin and it was such a relaxing, quite and peaceful getaway. Very clean and the owners have gone above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need in the cabin. The neighbors were not far but it was so quiet and peaceful I thought we were alone the entire time in the woods! We enjoyed many trips into town and loved the community but the best was the comfort of the cabin. I can go on and on about all the places to go hiking and horseback riding (snowy mountain stables was amazing) but I will wrap up the review with this. The owners take beautiful care of their property. The cabin is comfortable and a very homey. One of the best experiences us city folks could have. We will definitely be coming back sooner than later. Grateful for the opportunity we had to enjoy!!

Thank you for coming up! We love our place and glad you loved it too. Your welcome back anytime! God Bless. Scott
We stayed for a week in July and are from Mesa. It was 110 at home and only in the 80's at this cabin. It was such a treat! We spent a lot of time outside: walking, hiking and driving around the lakes nearby. We walked up the hill in the back, which brought you to the rock wall (from the pics on the site), it was fun to climb and see all of Alpine from there.
The cabin itself was very nice. Big enough to move around and have space, but also cozy and comfortable. I really loved the table, it was really long and we played plenty of games with small and larger groups of people. The bathrooms were clean and big. The Beds were very comfortable. The walls were thin and we could hear things, but that was mentioned to us before staying there and we were aware. The mud rooms were great to help keep the house clean and organized. Checking In and Checking out were very simple.
Scott (the owner) was very helpful with any information we needed and replying back to me right away when texting.. We would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for the great review! We love the drawing of the cabin someone did in the guest book. Your welcome back when you like!
Wonderful cabin and equipped perfect for a family with children. Our kids had lots to play with including board games, tether ball, foose ball, and plenty of movies for all ages. Pearson family had a great time and thank you
Every year my family goes to Alpine for our family vacation. This year my sister and I decided to rent a cabin. It was the best decision we made! The cabin was clean, on a beautiful lot and had everything you would need. We had a great time.
The rental property was exactly as listed. Well taken care of, with a multitude of activities available to our family. Loved the feeling of seclusion, as well as the proximity to the forest. Enjoyed all the amenities offered and truly exhaustive choices for our kids! Probably one of the best stays we ever had!

We love being in Alpine. We love renting the cabin so that others can enjoy the beauty of the Alpine area. We love fishing and hunting in the area. The hiking is phenomenal.
Why they chose this property
We have a very nice quiet neighborhood with very little traffic noise. There is a one-mile loop to ride you bikes with little traffic. We also have several bikes under the front porch. There is an electric pump to fill the tires. Directly behind the cabin is a hill where you can hike if you like with a really neat rock wall. Deer and elk are often seen in the neighborhood.
What makes this property unique
One acre lot with US forest directly behind. It is a true rustic log cabin with that warm charm. With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms it is very comfortable.
