3.5 metres from busy road (Route Petit Chatel). 06:30 constant construction vehicles ,buses and private cars of workers going past. No full length mirror for women to look to see if they are adequately dressed. No cupboard space for non perishable foodstuff and freezer compartment in refrigerator. Bathrooms incomplete decorating,some tiling needa pointing on the walls and floors. Furniture in kitchen/dining area cery heavy and very sharp edges unsuitable for young children. Why is there a tv in the main bedroom??? Paint on the wood work in main bedroom very shabby. Outside passage way on floor 7 very dusty with wood dust ,not very health and after mentioning to management on arrival nothing was done. Very disappointing.

We must say that we are a bit surprised to read your comment as you never mentioned that this apartment was not suitable for you. If you had told us when we did the check-in, we would have done our best to find another property so you can enjoy your stay.
We've taken note of your comments, and we will surely revert to the landlord what can be improved in his apartment. We hope the improvements will be done asap. Please note that our role is to advise and that we have no control over whether the work is actually carried out.
Regarding the dust in the common areas, we passed the information on to the syndic, who is responsible for this. Given that the residence is new, it's normal for a bit of dust to fall.

Too stressful trying to figure out how to check in and use it properly
I think this is a nice property in a nice location but we were exhausted by it.
Long contract in french and deposit to a separate agency which - extra admin.
Having travelled in France a lot, I know that some request you to bring or buy linen - this was not mentioned anywhere online or in the contract - 60 euros on arrival for 2 beds for 2 days was a sting with no explanation as to why this isn't mentioned anywhere.
Getting in to the apartment was awful.
We didn't recieve any information from the agency so didn't know where to go, didn't even know where the apartment was. You can't check in until 5pm and the agnecy shuts at 6. We found an address for an agency, went there, after 10 mins they send us up the road. New agency - half an hour going through 3 different transactions (couldn't they just do one?!) finally get the keys about an hour after arriving.
Found the apartment. The front door is on another road to the car entrance - not really anywhere to unload, takes a while to get between the two entrances by road with limited height (no warning). The car port garage is on a remote with 4 buttons, no directions on which one. Find the right one, there are another 30 garages in the underground garage - which one!? 'The one at the end'. Find the garage. No instructions about how to open the garage - you have to press a button and then unlock it but you don't know which button it is if you don't know to unlock it first. no instructions, husband just finally figured it out after half an hour.
Get from the car garage to the apartment - no instructions that its in a different building and how to get to the different building via two lifts and another door. And the instructions to the apartment are wrong - says the wrong floor number and no info on the door numbers being hidden so you don't even know which apartment!!!
The main bedroom bed is essentially a large camp bed, and the beds up the ladder are under the eaves which are low enough for anyone to hit their head on, and whilst we knew it would not be ideally safe for children - and I am sure it says this somewhere, it's really not but adults will continually bang their head on the eaves if they're up here and the ladder is too steep for night time toilet trips.
These beds are also very narrow for singles.
Essentially, not ideal sleeping conditions.
Nice little balcony with sun but it backs on to the road which can be quite busy and noisy.
It's compact and nicely done with a good shower.

I couldn’t be more surprised and disappointed to see your comment! I am the one who did the meet and greet with you at the apartment.
We are available and we take time to welcome all our guests.
We hardly ever close the office at 6pm as we try to wait until every one has arrived.
The check-in time is indeed 5pm, but when the property is available or ready sooner, we are more than happy to welcome our guests sooner.
The thing that we improved after your comment is the information about how to reach the garage from the apartment, and the other way around (on foot).
The information which was given to you was :
“On the car park entrance level : turn right as you enter. It is the last garage on the left.”
We had stickers on the doors and in the lifts which really helped to find your way but some owners removed them because “they didn’t like them”. There will be signs and labels installed very shortly which will really help.
With regards to linen and cleaning - It is written in the advertisement that cleaning and linen are not included, and the price is clearly shown. Besides, you received an automatic email a few days before your arrival, which gives you the information about where to collect the keys and the cost of the services.
When I did the check-out with you, you didn’t mention anything about the beds. Even though it is the very 1st time that we had the comment, we will forward it to the owners.
I think that we can clearly see in the photos that the roof is very low in the mezzanine. The height is between 1.30 and 2.4m.

A moins de 5 min à pied du centre de Chatel - le top! - cet appartement, dans une residence neuve, est très fonctionnel et bien équipé.
Il donne côté montagne mais la vue reste relativement dégagée.
L insonorisation est de qualité.
Le plan est bien conçu; l accès à la mezzanine n est pas adapté pour des enfants de moins de 8 ans.
A réserver sans hésiter.
