Les Quenettiers Holiday Rental
The holiday rental is located on the hills above Vieux Habitants in Géry-bel-Air, between the Beaugendre Valley and the Grande Rivière Valley, on the edge of the national park.
A wooden chalet comprising two well-insulated, independent 45-square-meter holiday rentals, each with a separate entrance and parking. Ideal for 2–3 people. Surrounded by forest and cooled by the trade winds
Each cottage features a terrace with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and the lush vegetation. In the evening, you can admire the sunsets, and during the day, relax in a hammock in the shade of the quénettiers.
The Alpinia cottage features a private mini-pool.
It is possible to rent both cottages. Ideal for two couples who wish to spend a holiday together while each maintaining their own privacy.

Very sad to say goodbye to our little hideaway in the mountains. Isabelle was so helpful (especially when our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night). Sitting in the terrace wondering at the view with an iced drink is miles away from busy life and work. A truly wonderful break. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Super séjour

Gite en plein coeur de la nature

Gite très bien équipé, même dans les petits détails ce qui est appréciable -bâton pour se balader, glacière et blocs réfrigérants, etc. Très belle vue de la terrasse. Grande disponibilité de notre hôtesse pour nous donner des conseils pour nos sorties et très bon accueil.

Un très bel endroit pour un séjour parfait

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans le gîte mitoyen d’Isabelle et Philippe . Tout était parfait : confort du gîte avec une bonne literie avec moustiquaire, une salle de bain avec de l’eau en permanence , une cuisine bien équipée avec lave vaisselle , une véranda spacieuse avec une vue sur la mer et la forêt , la petite piscine agréable ….les ventilateurs pour rafraîchir, un stationnement à quelques marches . Bref un lieu idéal pour un séjour en Basse terre et central pour faire les visites du Nord et Sud de l’île. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et disponibles si besoin . Leurs conseils avant l’arrivée et pendant le séjour nous ont été très utiles . Adresse que nous recommandons pour 2 personnes sans hésiter

Exceptionnel

Cadre idyllique dans un bungalow extrêmement bien équipé et confortable. Très propre. Isabelle et Philippe sont des hôtes on ne peut plus accueillant, aux petits soins, disponibles et remplis d’attentions. Ils ont nous également bien conseillé sur l’ensemble des activités à faire et nous ont même fait découvrir avec eux de jolis coins. Encore merci et nous reviendrons pouf sur!

Très bon séjour !!!

Nous avons passé un séjour un excellent séjour et nous sommes ravis d'avoir rencontrés Isabelle et Philippe, tous les deux adorables, accueillants et attentionnés. Le gîte est confortable et la piscine représente un véritable atout pour se prélasser en toute quiétude tout en profitant de la superbe vue sur l'océan !!! Tel un écrin, la faune et la flore du jardin réservent également de belles surprises...

Un petit paradis

Ce gîte est idéal, un véritable petit paradis avec une vue magnifique. Je le recommande vivement, quel plaisir de boire son café en regardant les colibris butiner dans le jardin. De plus les hôtes sont très accueillants et chaleureux et je les remercie pour les bons conseils de visites des alentours.

We hebben meer dan genoten, het huisje deed aan alle verwachtingen. Een meer dan vriendelijke ontvangst. Al op voorhand contact gehad met Isabelle die alle info al doormailde zodat we onze reis goed konden voorbereiden. Het uitzicht was formidabel. We hebben een topweekje achter de rug. Een aanrader is zeker La Souffrière beklimmen met een gids!

Gemütliches kleines Häuschen mit tollem Blick

Das kleine Ferienhaus von Isabelle und Philippe ist mit viel Liebe hergerichtet. Der Blick von der Terrasse aus ist überwältigendend. Das Haus liegt super für Wanderungen zum Vulkan La Soufrière, oder zu den drei Wasserfällen des Carbet. Die beiden sind tolle Gastgeber, haben gute Tipps für Wanderungen, Strände, Ausflüge und Restaurants. Wer lieber Kochen will, findet eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche . Außerdem sind sie sehr darum bemüht, dass ihre Gäste nicht von Stechmücken aufgefressen werden (Mückenlampe, Räucherspiralen und Repellent war vor Ort). Für uns eine der schönsten Unterkünfte auf Guadeloupe. Wir würden jederzeit auch mehr als nur ein paar Tage dort verbringen. Merci Isabelle! C‘était magnifique chez vous!

Fantastic stay

We have spent two wonderful weeks at the gite and enjoyed every minute. The view is to die for, and it is easily the best equipped self catering kitchen we have ever had! A short drive to many beautiful beaches and activities. Highly recommended!

Magique et idyllique

Cadre idyllique en pleine nature !!! Isabelle et Philippe sont adorables et nous ont conseillés pleins de visites Emplacement idéal pour prendre le temps de visiter toute la Basse Terre sans passer trop de temps en voiture. Superbes couchés de soleil les pieds dans la piscine avec petit planteur à la main 😍 Et petit déjeuner accompagné de colibri sucriers et rouges-gorges (et le 1er petit déjeuner préparé par Isabelle est juste délicieux 😋) LE PARADIS !!!

Nous avons séjourné trois jours début août 18, avant notre arrivé Isabelle nous avait envoyé un message avec tout ce qui était bien de savoir pour un séjour parfait, et la route à suivre pour arriver au gite. A notre arrivée, elle nous avait mis de quoi préparer le petit déjeuner et un planteur maison, un délice! Le logement est vraiment super, dans un écrin de verdure, piscine, vue mer... tout ce que l'on peut souhaiter en allant aux Antilles Nous avons adorer notre séjour chez Isabelle

Ouaouhhhh! Un séjour au paradis juste inoubliable!

Cadre merveilleux au calme dans la nature, vue exceptionnelle, bungalow très bien aménagé avec goût et aux finitions de qualité. Et alors, le plaisir de goûter la fraîcheur de la petite-piscine en terrasse le regard sur l'horizon ou de lire bercé par les douces oscillations du hamac et caressé par les alizées... voilà le bonheur! N'oublions pas un accueil avenant, souriant et agréable avec en prime un punch de bienvenue et le premier petit-déjeuner offert de produits "maison". Un vrai plus aussi, la tournée dans la rue du boulanger chaque matin et la possibilité de faire livrer ses repas du soir à la porte. Tout parfait!

A l’ombre des Quenettiers se cache un petit paradis pour les amoureux.

Une semaine c’est bien court pour découvrir La Guadeloupe mais depuis le gîte des Quenettiers, idéalement situé à Vieux-Habitants, il y a mille et une choses à faire et à voir. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les randonnées de La Soufrière et des Chutes du Carbet ainsi que la visite du Domaine de La Grivelière. Le gîte lui-même est un agréable chalet très bien équipé. Depuis la terrasse on assiste tous les soirs au coucher du soleil au loin dans la mer tandis qu’entouré d’une végétation luxuriante on se délasse dans la mini-piscine après une bonne journée de marche. Le matin les sucriers et les pèrenoirs viennent nous rendre visite pour réclamer leur ration de sucre tandis qu’imperturbable le colibri butine à deux pas et les lézards curieux viennent voir la tête des nouveaux habitants. Nous nous serions en revanche bien passé des moustiques qui ont trouvé notre peau de touristes à leur goût et ce malgré une belle moustiquaire au-dessus du lit et de l’anti-moustique en permanence. Si le gîte est agréable, l’accueil de nos hôtes l’a été tout autant. Et nous remercions chaleureusement Isabelle pour ces précieux conseils (plages, randonnées non répertoriées dans les guides…) et pour ses services (prêts de palmes, commande d’assiettes traiteur pour notre premier soir…).

Le gite correspond parfaitement à l'idée qu'on s'en faisait avant de partir.. Très agréable séjour avec un aménagement parfait (sanitaires et cuisine) et une super terrasse avec belle vue Accueil sympathique On aura plaisir à y revenir !

Ein Ort der Erholung

Traumhaft gelegen, gute Aussicht, tropischer Garten, der von Kolibries besucht wird. Das Haus ist liebevoll renoviert und die Küche hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung. Haben uns eine Woche lang sehr wohl gefühlt.
