In the hollow of a residential hamlet nestled on the edge of fields, forests & meadows, bordering the center of the charming, typical little village & merchant of Branges (river village crossed by the greenway with a charming marina with lock located in the middle of nature in a preserved green setting) nestled on the banks of the Seille (the most important river in Bresse, close to the gîte), a remarkable ecosystem largely classified as a Natura 2000 Zone (migratory bird reserve, rare plant species , many fish including the famous catfish, animals and wildlife ...), navigable over 39 km between Louhans and La Truchère in the hollow of magnificent landscapes, offering many leisure activities (hiking, pleasure cruising, canoeing, fishing ....) .
