About this property
Lemens Lodge Sportsman & Family Lodge on Long Lake-Sleeps 12 - Open all Seasons
Welcome to the Lemens Lodge on Long Lake - a Sportsman and Family Lodge! A huge 4 bedroom home on an acre of land with 120 feet of lake front property to rent by the week and enjoy. (Non-summer we take shorter rentals) Enjoy your favorite lake activities. Boating, swimming, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV ride, fall color watching - pick your season. Operated by Lemens Lodge LLC, we are happy to share this home with respectful renter who will take care of the property.
In 2017 VRBO changed the booking method making it confusing, Lemens Lodge does NOT use the automatic online booking, You MUST CALL or REQUEST with 24 hour Review to confirm a booking.
The upstairs layout is 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Previously known as J&J Resort, The main house has been converted into a vacation rental with a large gathering area with fully equipped kitchen, large dining table, comfy living room, fooseball table.
4 bedrooms upstairs and additional sleeping options downstairs to accommodate small and large groups. There are Two full baths, one on the main level and on the upper level.
All bedrooms have small tables, chair and dressers. SE Bedroom is largest, has one queen bed. SW Bedroom is medium with two single bed. NE Bedroom is smallest with one queen bed. NW Bedroom is large with two single beds.
In addition on the first floor, in a corner (not private) is a daybed with pull out twin to make a full size bed. We also have a futon and pull out couch. This should give you lots of options.
With Two Decks and a front covered porch; The front covered porch for small simple relaxation and unloading gear, The rear deck off the living room, sports a fantastic lake view, for gathering and grilling. The third deck is a large private "icehouse" deck (20 x 20 ft) along the lakefront (within 12 feet) with awesome views of the water, the wildlife and the secluded Boy Scouts property across the shore. The Boy Scouts own 10 miles of undeveloped shoreline which keeps this reduced traffic and one of the most beautiful lakes in the area. The property has its own private boat dock and campfire pit. It also shares a convenient fish house to clean your fish. Long Lake is known for it fishing and is the 'Walleye Capital of Wisconsin'. It also has an abundant supply of small-mouth bass, large-mouth bass, crappies and sunfish.
There are many restaurants and marinas (providing gas and rental boats) on the lake so that you never have to leave the lake. Off the lake, there are some great restaurants and golfing options. If you like to shop, Stone Lake is only 10 minutes away, Spooner is 15 minutes and Hayward is only 35 minutes away. Hayward always has something going on and its Main Street is loaded with shops, restaurants, its famous candy store and bakery and even a Wine Cave with entertainment. Rice Lake, 30 minutes, provides full services, and large scale stores.
Once you arrive, our property manager, will provide you with a Welcome Book that provides details on the property so you can feel right at home and gives you other local restaurant, shopping and recreational activities. Come join us on one of the most beautiful lakes in the area.

About the host
Hosted by MaryLou and Paul Lemens
Life long Wisconsin residents, we appreciate the great outdoors, this Long Lake property and it great lake access, gave us a chance to share with family and friends and has provided us so many wonderful memories. Mary Lou was born and raised on farm just couple miles from this location and misses the friendly people and acquaintances. We hope your stay is pleasant and relaxing. Let us know how it goes.

Why they chose this property
There is so much time and fun that there are weeks we don't find a need to leave the property, Bring enough boats and equipment, and food and refreshments, Check out the pictures on the wall, Its hard to believe this scenic tree filled resort was once a Farm, the house? the barn in the 1940's the Silo foundation is under the first floor bathrooms. And once a thriving J&J Restaurant and resort of 5 acres, succumbed to changing times. Now it gives us and you an opportunity to enjoy the good life.
What makes this property unique
Multiple decks, quick access to lakefront, and beautiful 2,000 acre BoyScout Camp across our view.... providing great outdoor feel.
We are often on-site during most seasons, (adjacent to lodge) but have housekeeping and family nearby when we do wonder.
