Cute little place, comfortable with fun decor. A little old, the fridge was noisy and bed creaky and sound traveled pretty well but overall well taken care of. This is Lone Pine
Assume communication and flexibility. Great property!

Bigger than it looked from photos. Very pretty and comfortable and stocked with everything we could need Easy walk to town in one direction and to countryside in the other. The view of snow topped mountains from the breakfast room was a treat.
We had a wonderful stay! The house is centrally located in Lone Pine. Very charming house with lots of antique furniture and touches. The host is amazing and everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. We explored Alabama Hills and Death Valley during our stay. We will definitely return to this house to explore the area more!
Stayed here for a Mt. Whitney summit. It is good to have a place to pack your bags and relax at the end of the day. The place is old but very clean and well-decorated. Backyard is nice though I did t have time to enjoy it. Bathrooms were clean, no issues with hot water or AC. My favorite part of the house is the nook area off the kitchen for coffee in the morning. Drip, K-Cup, French press, and pour-over options are available. The property is a quick walk to town. I really enjoyed my stay here.
The rental had a great vibe! There is an extra sitting room for relaxing and tv. The backyard is cute and private for sitting out and grilling. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The dining area is off the kitchen with a view of the mountains. Definitely will return thus rental!
This house was perfect for out 2-couple group preparing for the hike. Very spacious (we all had room to pull out, compare & pack our hiking gear into backpacks) and comfortable. Nice to have a separate “tv room” from the living room. Quiet neighborhood and our parking spot in front of the house was always available to us. Nice coffee machine options and the individual AC & fan controls in each bedroom was great.
The property was centrally located, so it was an easy walk to town. It was exactly what we need while in town for the Lone Pine half-marathon. The beds were super comfortable, and the house was clean and cozy. I highly recommend this property.
We really enjoyed our cozy stay in this Lone Pine Bungalow. Easy access by car to some great hikes with spectacular views, and a short walk to nearby great restaurants. The well equipped kitchen worked for our eat-in meals where we dined in the lovely little nook.
A good location in Lone Pine for the things we wanted to do. Pleasant home where we felt comfortable.

It has authentic old Hollywood construction, looks like a crew came up from LA and built their usual. Oak floor, quaint fixtures, breakfast nook, not flashy.

Really cute bungalow set up with lots of amenities to ensure a comfortable visit. Everthing from good cutlery to nice lotion. A few details need attention. Bed in master bedroom needs to be replaced. Matress is shot. Great location for fun in E. Sierras. Quiet neighborhood will leave you refreshed.

About the host

I've been living in the Eastern Sierra for five years and made the move here from LA to enjoy the great access to the mountains!
I manage a guide service, so I have all the beta on great hikes, sites, and conditions. I also love photography and have been shooting professionally for over 10 years.
Some of my favorite activities are trail running, rock climbing, and backpacking. There are endless options to explore here and there is something for everything!
Why they chose this property
This is one of the most unique homes in town. It was one of the first homes built in the 'Little Hollywood' neighborhood. The neighborhood go this name because it was the wealthy area of town.
It was built in 1939 and has many of the charming qualities of a home from that era, including high ceilings, hardwood floors, picture windows and a fireplace.
What makes this property unique
The home offers so much charm! Starting at the front yard, which is filled with flowers and an inviting deck which is a great place to read a book in the evening. Inside the house has beautiful vintage accents like crown molding, glass door knobs, arched doorways, and hardwood floors. I love to sit in the front living area and watch the butterflies and birds in the front yard through the large picture window. The house has two living areas, with a pellet stove to cozy up next to when it's chilly outside.
The vintage charm continues to the kitchen. There are gorgeous view of Mt. Whitney while you wash your dishes. The eating area is surrounded by windows, inviting the outdoors inside. The kitchen table allows enough space for everyone to gather around the table to share a meal.
Each bedroom has been thoughtfully designed to not only offer comfort, but charm.
The backyard offers privacy on all sides, along with a small garden and honeysuckle. The trees are often alive with trees and there are usually a hummingbird or two flying around in the evening.
I've put so much love and thought into preparing this home for guests. It brings me so much joy when guests have a comfortable and memorable stay in our area and in my home.
