Beautiful independent house on the heights of the port of Garavan with exotic garden and an exceptional sea view from Italy to Monaco.

Fantastic view

Excellent outdoor areas. Good and well-equipped kitchen. However, it is very cold indoor due to the “plastic-courtains “ Not being fastened and thus allow the wind and rain to come indoor.

Fantastic villa with the most amazing view

We couldn't be happier about the villa. The view is simply breathtaking. A perfect place to stay in all respects. The villa is, however, not easily accessible, as the GPS will direct you to the wrong place (at least ours did). Once we got an alternative address from the property manager Arnaud, everything worked out fine. We will absolutely come back!!!

Magnificent

Al fresco was the best experience ever. Endless views and you are one with nature. We were able to walk down to town to the supermarket and Boulangerie. The Maison Du citron was within walking distance and so was the Sir Hanbury Botanical garden in Italy. Arnaud , the property was very nice and available when needed. We will definitely return and we recommend this villa.

Amazing stay with a picturesque view

We enjoyed a great week at the house located high up the mountain side with a breath taking view of the ocean and the sea. Family of four - two kids aged 8 and 10 years old.The layout of the house is nice with an open kitchen and living room which gave a feel of stepping out into the great ambience of Menton. The pool might not be the biggest, however the pool area makes up for it and it’s worthwhile noticing that the pool isn’t too deep which makes it great for kids. Some reviews says the noise from the highway can be heard which is true but not something that bothered us during our stay. Highly recommended place to stay if you want to enjoy Menton.

Best view in the world!

This is a wonderful place with huge charm and all the comforts, well arranged so that you're facing the view all the time and everywhere. Menton-Garavan local station is a 20 minute scramble straight down the cliff and from there you can go anywhere on the French & Italian rivieras. Great hiking and exercise all around you ... but if you have any mobility problem it's not for you. We came away fantastically healthy and fit!

En villa med ett fantastiskt läge med utsikt över medelhavet. Villan är originell i sin planlösning med egentligen ett bra sovrum på översta plan med badrum en suite. På första våningen ett sovrum med tre dörrar, varav en tämligen svårstängd. Badrum en suite men toaletten i hallen. På bottenplan ett sovrum med badrum bakom draperi, relativt fuktigt. Badrummen mycket fräscha. Köket är väldigt välutrustat och passade oss bra som gillar att laga mat, all utrustning funkade utom brödrosten som var trasig. Huset passa nog inte jättebra för familjer med små barn (många avsatser, trappor och låga avspärrningar.). utomhusmiljön var fin, många olika platser att vistas på och området kring poolen väldigt mysigt, vackra växter och krukor. AC fungerade klanderfritt i sovrummen och var mycket tyst. Tvättmaskin som fungerade bra.Det bästa med huset är nog köket med tillhörande uteplats med fantastisk utsikt.Det sämsta troligen den branta, smala uppfarten till huset. Vi valde att låta bilen stå på parkeringsplatsen nedanför huset vilket också var möjligt. Informationsbrochyren i huset var utförlig och bra. VI hade en härlig vecka i Menton!

Bergerie vétuste, inaccessible et photos trompeuses

Vous pensez réserver une villa de charme avec tout le confort, vous louez une masure. La maison est quasi inaccessible même pour les bons conducteurs. La rampe d’accès est dangereuse, très étroite et extrêmement raide. Nous avons dû descendre sur 3 roues. Je suis bonne conductrice mais j’ai dû compter sur mon mari tout le séjour, ce qui a tout gâché. Cela dit vous pouvez vous garer loin en contrebas de la pente raide, il faut alors remonter toute la pente à pied (avec les courses et les enfants!).Le jardin est en friche, avec des herbes folles, des plaques de plexiglas qui traînent, une bétonnière et des gravats qui jonchent le sol. Les rambardes ne sont pas très hautes (et pas du tout réglementaires). Dès lors les enfants n’ont pas pu aller seuls dans le jardin.Une seule porte ferme correctement, la pièce principale étant fermée par une bâche dont une fermeture éclair est cassée et raccommodée avec du scotch et des épingles de sûreté. La chambre d’ami qui se trouve sous la maison ne ferme pas à clef et sent le moisi. Mais la femme de ménage qui vous accueille vous recommande quand même de bien fermer la maison car « il y a beaucoup de rôdeurs dans le coin »… ma mère de 75ans n’a donc pas pu y dormir, devant dormir dans la chambre des enfants, sur le sofa et en a retiré un sacré mal de dos.Les goulottes électriques sont visibles et les fils pendent. Lavabo bouché et filet d’eau dans la douche du haut. Nombreuses araignées. Mouche dans le lit à l’arrivée.

Individualistisches Haus mit tollen Terrassen und traumhafter Aussicht

Die Weihnachtsfeiertage mit der Familie (3 Generationen) bei wolkenlosem Himmel verleben zu dürfen, war ein ganz besonderes Geschenk. Das Haus bietet neben einem fantastischen Blick drei prima Schlafeinheiten mit eigenen Bädern, die Individualität und Rückzugschancen bieten. Die Gartenanlage mit ihren Terrassen lässt ähnlich wie die Ausstattung des Hauses keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Une villa magnifique et une vue splendide

Nous avons énormément apprécié cette propriété. Elle est idéalement située à Menton: plusieurs restaurants et commodités y sont à proximité. Tout était propre à notre arrivée et la maison est bien équipée. L'ambiance qui règne dans cette villa est tout simplement magnifique (tant le jour que le soir). Le réel coup de coeur reste pour nous la vue... C'est indescriptible à quel point le panorama est beau avec vue sur la ville de Menton, la mer et les rochers de l'Italie. Bref, nous avons adoré nos vacances ! Nous comptons peut-être même y retourner. équipe

Großes Objekt mit fantastischem Ausblick von jeder Terrasse.

Ein insgesamt gut bewohnbares Objekt, das neben dem fantastischen Ausblick viele Annehmlichkeiten bietet. Die Parksituation ist problematisch. Die Pflege des Objekts lässt noch Wünsche offen. Die Küche bietet alle notwendige Technik, könnte jedoch systematischer aufgeräumt werden, damit man sich in den vielfältigen Utensilien auch zurecht findet.

Surprised to read that you found the parking situation problematic, there are 2 parking spots inside the property and down the hill. Also i do not really understand the comment concerning the tidying up of the kitchen ustensils which are very numerous and in the all the cupboards. But despite your very numerous requests for things and explanations like 2 times how the Nespresso machine worked, I hope you had a fabulous holiday.

Wunderbarer Ort zur Erholung

Sehr schönes Anwesen mit vielen verwinkelten Orten zum Verweilen und zur Erholung. Sehr charmant und authentisch eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Sensationelle Aussicht. Super gelegen für Ausflüge an die Coté d-Azure wie z.B. Monaco, Nizza Cannes etc. (Die Willkommensbroschüre müsste gelegentlich überarbeitet werden. Keine Nespressomachine (Kapseln wurden von uns im Vorfeld somit vergebens angeschafft) sondern ein super Kaffeevollautomat). Ist nur eine kleine Anmerkung und hat unsere Ferienwoche in keinster Weise getrübt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent séjour passé dans cette villa Mentonnaise à laquelle Clément à su apporter le modernisme nécessaire tout en conservant le cachet et le côté fonctionnel de la maison. Décoration sobre et soignée, mais avant tout une optimisation des lieux pour le panorama dont on ne se lasse pas du matin au soir... Entrée / sortie avec Arnaud (gestionnaire) aux petits soins. Bref, un séjour de rêve.

Vue exceptionnelle

Comme le dit l'annonce : "Villa de caractère avec magnifiques vues mer, piscine privée et jardin exotique". Je rajouterai que l'accueil est très professionnel et sympathique. La villa et son beau jardin, bien entretenu, sont très agréables et la vue vraiment époustouflante. La maison est très confortable et atypique, nombreuses terrasses et recoins, des plantes exotiques partout. La décoration est soignée et moderne. La place de parking en bas de la villa est appréciable car la montée est très raide. Le seul hic le bruit de fond ambiant extérieur des très nombreux transports alentours (autoroute, routes, train, hélicoptères, etc.), mais nous sommes en ville et Menton est encaissée entre mer et montagne. La ville de Menton, la vue de la Villa et la région valent bien le séjour.

Vue 20/20 exceptionnelle

Semaine TRES agréable dans une villa typiquement mentonnaise avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et la ville qu’on gardera en mémoire. Nous dormions rideaux ouverts pour ne rien perdre de la vue. Piscine juste ce qu’il faut… Proximité avec l’Italie. Par contre, l’accès à la villa est un peu stressant car abrupte mais pour une telle vue, passage obligé. La place de parking n’est pas très pratique non plus mais après une semaine, on s’y fait. En plus le voisin est sympa. Toutefois qq tout petits points négatifs (vite oubliés), manque des transats à plat, j’ai du mettre ma serviette par terre, garde corps un peu bas et les moustiques 😩. L’accueil par Arnaud, génial. En résumé, une semaine dans un endroit exceptionnel avec un temps exceptionnel. Nous nous souviendrons de ces vacances.

La vue n'excuse pas tout

Très beau potentiel, propriété originale, vue extraordinaire, jardins et terrasses magnifiques, mais .... un sentiment jamais vécu encore, d'être chez quelqu'un. Des affaires personnelles laissées partout dans la maison, jusqu'au frigo pas totalement vidé !!!!! une cuisine avec un potentiel très intéressant, mais á la propreté limite... le four est tout simplement TRES SALE , le plan de travail collait à l'arrivée. Pour ětre nous même loueur d'un gîte 4 erloies en meublé de tourisme en Bretagne, nous avons un autre sens de la location. C'est vraiment dommage car c'est un très beau produit, mais au vu du prix payé, la vue n'excuse pas tous. Il faut juste se ressaisir.

Bonjour, Je suis navré que vous ayez eu une experience insatisfaisante lors de votre séjour. S'agissant de la propreté, nous faisons appel a un professionnel pour le ménage et il m'a confirmé n'avoir pas nettoyé le four lors de votre arrivée. J'en suis désolé et cela fait partie des choses que nous vérifions désormais a chaque entrée. Ceci étant, je vous avais contacté pour préparer votre arrivée, vous aviez mon portable ainsi que notre property manager a votre disposition sur place, je trouve étonnant que vous n'ayez pas cru utile de me contacter ou de simplement demander que ce nettoyage soit fait lors de votre séjour. S'agissant du plan de travail, malheureusement le vernis utilisé ne résiste pas comme spécifié au soleil direct auquel il est expose la grande majorité de la journée. Suite a votre commentaire, nous avons décidé d'effectuer un poncage et revernissage des plans. S'agissant de nos affaires personnelles... je vous avoue etre un peu surpris par votre commentaire. Nous ne louons pas un gite mais notre maison. Nous l'avons meublée a notre gout et je pense que vous pouviez vous en rendre compte sur les photos detaillées sur le site. Toutes les armoires et placard sont vides a l'exception des jeux de société et autre nécessaires. Par ailleurs, comme indiqué dans notre livret d'accueil, nous laissons a disposition de nos locataires non seulement tout le linge de maison (en ce y compris serviettes de plages, ponchos de pluie, etc) , mais également un fond de placard (cafe, biscuits, sucre, sopalin, sac poubelles, papier toilette, bouteilles de gaz pour l'eau et le BBQ, etc) qui permet de profiter dès l'arrivée et manque cruellement dans bien des locations, de notre experience. Nous proposons aux locataires de ne pas gacher inutilement et d'alimenter le fond eux-memes. S'agissant du frigo, il était entierement vide et nettoyé a votre arrivée. Le congélateur devait en revanche contenir des glaces et items laissés par les locataires précédents ce que je trouve tout a fait appréciable. Si cela ne vous convenait pas, il aurait été si simple d'en faire part au property manager lors de votre check-in ou de me passer un coup de fil. Manifestement nous n'avons effectivement pas la meme approche de la relation avec nos locataires. J'espere néanmoins que vous avez profité de votre séjour.
