Fabulous Top end Mountain retreat

Beautiful Modern, stylish, high quality property in quiet location 20 minutes walk(5 mins drive) up a hill from Lovely Les Gets.Very close to the Bus stop (Excellent on time Bus service)to get you to Les Folliets Ski lift which opens up the ability to get to Morzine and Avoriaz easily and quickly as well as missing the lift queues at the bottom of the Village at Ski school times. Chalet is large and modern and perfect for a group of Adults and Children. Plenty of space and the Kitchen has excellent gadgets, Coffee machine, Wine Fridge, raclette, Fondue and fab cutlery, crokery and glasses for every self catering need. The Chalet is split between a downstairs lounge/den and bedrooms (our Teens loved this area) and then the main Kitchen diner/lounge with WC and Boot room before heading up to the 3rd Floor where there are 2-showers and 1-WC alongside the 3-Adults Double rooms.One niggle and a viewpoint:-Nordic Fire Hot tub is excellent but our Management company did not show us how to get it hot, just telling us that it was working even though it was very Cold!!! We did work it out and lit the Fire but we had to buy firelighters and the Chlorine was low, so a heads up would have been helpful before we arrived.Chalet does not have a local bar but this is not an issue if you are happy partying at home or getting the Bus back from Les Gets in the evening. Really positive experience and a top end Chalet created a fabulous Group Holiday. Definitely will return.

Si la traduction du Néerlandais est correcte, il convient de re-préciser que le chalet est situé en dans un quartier calme à l’écart de l’effervescence du centre ville des GETS, que vous pouvez rejoindre à pied ou en utilisant les bus (*) gratuits mis à disposition par la municipalité. (*) toutes les 15’ en période de vacances scolaires.

Très beau chalet traditionnel avec une décoration contemporaine chaleureuse. Equipement de grande qualité. Le bain nordique chaud extérieur est une merveille après une bonne journée de ski. Si petits enfants, il faut descendre en navette ou voiture pour rejoindre le front de neige au centre du village (difficile de se garer). Pour les plus grands, 300m à pied pour rejoindre la piste des Bruyeres ... histoire de s'échauffer ;)

Beautiful chalet

Wonderful chalet, modern kitchen, well equipped, easy to access and good communication with property manager. I understand ski-in/ski-out is only possible with enough snow and still requires a short walk. That wasn’t possible for us this week, but the bus stops very close to the chalet and takes you up the mountain, avoiding the busier Les Gets in the morning, which is probably the way to go anyway. Would definitely come back here.

Une précision néanmoins, inscrite au descriptif de la propriété, en ce qui concerne l'accès aux pistes: "Côté ski, selon les conditions d’enneigement et votre niveau, le départ et le retour « skis aux pieds » sont possibles. Néanmoins, deux autres solutions s’offrent à vous : - Rejoindre à pied la piste des Bruyères à 150 m pour accéder à tous les départs Ski du centre de la station - Ou profiter de la navette gratuite «Les GETS Bus » située à 100 m, au bas du chalet"
