Villa Rosa a lovely modern 6 bedroom villa conveniently situated 15 minutes drive from the stylish coastal resort of sitges and only 35 minutes drive from the cosmopolitan city of Barcelona. Located in the heart of the Penedes region of Catalonia famous for its wine production, the villa is located among vineyards, stunning mountain scenery and the garraf national park.An ideal base to explore the region, for its many activities such as cycling, hiking, horse riding and of course wine tasting. Alternatively the villa is only minutes from the 17 secluded beaches and coves of sitges and its buzzing night life. The villa has accommodation over 2 levels which can be let as a whole of individually and has every facility to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable holiday ; 6 bedrooms sleeping 12/13 max, a large private pool south facing gardens for secluded sun bathing, (pool alarm included) garden barbecue, sun loungers, terraces, 2 lounges and dinning rooms, 2 fully fitted kitchens and utility room.

Amazing stay in this incredible villa

We had the most amazing time in this house! The garden is absolutely stunning, with many sitting areas, including a lovely bbq area (3 bbq's in total!). There are so many facilities (pool, jacuzzi, sport equipment, boxing bag, pool table, 2 kitchens, etc...) and the owners were really nice and responsive. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Overall an amazing stay, highly recommend!

Wonderful villa for a family gathering.

Julie & Ricardo were perfect hosts. They were friendly, helpful and provided some excellent recommendations. The villa was well equipped with lots of entertainment. Our grandchildren were reluctant to leave the pool and all the adults made great use of the hot tub and games room.

Lovely relaxed holiday

loved the house, Julie and Ricardo were easy and great to deal with, understanding the area and able to offer ideas. House is 'split' with an upstairs/downstairs mix of bed and kitchen, ideal for bigger groups. Pool is main attraction, and whilst chilly, is excellent! We had a fab time bar the mosquito bites!

We just got back from an amazing stay in Villarosa. We had 3 generations and the house was a perfect fit for everyone. 2 lower level bedrooms for our older family members and the beautiful and well maintained pool for the kids. We had several days enjoying the pool all day, the kids (and adults) loved the entire outside area. Julie and Ricardo both went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Julie sent me lots of local recommendations were were great, including calling a local favorite restaurant to let them know we were coming. Once we arrived the owner came to greet us and we had an amazing meal. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

Julie and Ricardo were so helpful with reservations and places to see while staying at their wonderful home. The grill was the outstanding element of an already exceptional backyard. We had a 9 month old and 8 adults with plenty of room for all activities. Trails near house were great for walkers and runners. Restaurant in the neighborhood served great food. Thanks for everything , it was outstanding.

50th wedding anniversary celebration

This lovely villa and pool, set in beautiful gardens, was a perfect venue for us to take our family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. All ages, from 2-71, had a wonderful time. The accomodation was perfect for the 13 of us with plenty of room for everyone and the games room was greatly appreciated. However, the pool was the absolute favourite. Beautiful Villa

We had a wonderful time at La Villa Rosa. The property was immaculate with plenty of space for 3 families. We loved the games room and pool and it was so nice to be able to eat dinner all together outside. Ricardo and Julie were fantastic hosts. They were always on hand if we needed anything and arranged an amazing tour of one of the vineyards for us. There is a great restaurant at the end of the road that you can walk to and Ricardo called ahead to reserve us a table. We can’t wait to go back and hope to visit again soon!

The perfekt villa for your family

We can only describe the villa as the best place for the family. the area is quiet. The villa has everything a family could wish for. the security around the pool is top notch. Owners. Ricardo is always available if you have wishes or questions about anything.. I would give the villa as a whole 10/10 stars. I will definitely book the villa again if I have to travel again with the family or a larger group.

A long weekend to remember!

Ricardo and Julie, thank you so much for the seemless stay at your beautiful property. From start to finish: effortless. You truly are wonderful owners and we could have not been made to feel more welcome by Ricardo on arrival. The property is stunning and the secluded pool and gardens, beautiful. More than enough space for the 10 of us that stayed and the facilities were brilliant. We made great use of the new BBQ area. I’m sure many do not make the trip into vibrant Sitges every night (ha!) but this was great fun and you were so helpful with taxis and with anything we needed. Fantastic Stay!

The Villa was everything we hoped it would be. We were greeted with a Happy Birthday banner and Cava!!! There were 12 of us staying here and we did not feel on top of each other at all, there was plenty of space inside and outside to relax. We didn't have a car but Rebecca and Matthew (Julie's daughter) gave us a taxi number, who spoke english, and were also kind enough to drive us to the nearest supermarket to get a grocery shop which was so helpful and generous! We had a great night out in Sitges and also some meals and takeaway pizza (and beer!) from the restaurant at the end of the road, which was very handy. All of our needs were met and our hosts were fantastic, Communication from Julie was brilliant from start to finish. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday weekend. Thank you so much!!

Perfect Stay

If you are reading this review you will no doubt have read the last dozen or so (like I did) so I am very conscious of repeating what has already been said. Villarosa has received 5 Star reviews constantly and for a reason. Just ask yourself when was the last time you received something being "exceptional" for a product or service and it could be difficult. Not the case with Villarosa, and with Ricardo and Julie on hand should they be needed the visit was just perfect and made the holiday most enjoyable. We stayed for two weeks and in all of the villas we have tried each year this was the first time the "Bedding and Towels" were changed for the 10 people at the midway stage. No need to worry about booking this villa, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Ricardo and Julie

Lovely well equipped villa

Our family had a fantastic time at the villa. Ricardo was an amazing host and made everything a breeze, from check in to providing information on things to do, restaurants etc. The villa is very well equipped and the lay out is perfect for large family groups. We had age ranges from 4 to 70 and all had a great time playing the various activities or just chilling in the jacuzzi or various spots around the grounds! We visited Sitges a few times and went to Aquila waterpark for the day. Also went to the local restaurant a couple of times which is walking distance. One thing I will say is to get the most out the trip get a hire car, oh and prepare for mosquitos!! Some of us got bitten a lot, youngest and eldest didn’t get bitten at all?! I’ve since found out that if you take yeast tablets two weeks before you go on hols that can prevent bites?! I’d definitely try that if I went back! Overall an amazing time and I’d highly recommend!

Perfect family get together

Beautiful house and garden, lovely pool. Great for a relaxing holiday with large family group. Ricardo was really helpful, and had lots of suggestions for things to do and was very happy to help us with arrangements, and be flexible around our delayed flight and arrival. This is a really peaceful holiday home, we had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool and sharing meals together. Trips to monserrat and the codornui caves were real highlights. This was everything we hoped our (long covid delayed!) family holiday would be, many many thanks.

Casa Villa Rosa is great

10 mennesker fra 2 familier havde 14 dejlige dage i Villa Rosa. Allerede inden ankomst var værtsparret Julie & Ricardo meget hjælpsomme og havde gode ideer til udflugter og diverse. Huset og haven er fantastisk og et lækkert pool område hvor meget tid blev brugt. 6 meget anvendelige og flotte værelser hvor alle gæster fik deres ønsker om indlogering opfyldt. Vacances parfaites !

La propriété nous a tout à fait satisfait, elle offre un large choix d’activités. Ricardo et Julie sont aux petits soins avec les invités ! Nous étions un groupe d’amis et la maison est idéale à la fois pour découvrir la région mais aussi pour se reposer. Nous vous conseillons la découverte du domaine PARÉS BALTA qui fut une super expérience aux alentours. La maison est localisée à 15min de Stiges et 45min de Barcelone. Nous remercions encore Julie et Ricardo pour leur accueil et pour leur sympathie. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Fabulous villa, highly recommend

We stayed as 3 families & had an amazing time at this wonderful villa. It had everything you could possibly need & more. The pool is perfect & the addition of a games room was the icing on the cake for both children & adults. Extremely spacious, very private & hosts that could not do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. We made good use of the barbecue and had 2 fantastic meals at the nearby restaurant. A car is a must, just a 15 minute drive to stunning Sitges & the beautiful beaches of Vilanova. We would definitely recommend this villa, it really has the wow factor

Fabulous holiday home getaway

Just got home from a wonderful 10 night stay at this beautiful villa. We were 8 adults and 4 children having a family get together. The whole holiday from start to finish has been a great experience, Julie and Ricardo have been super helpful and friendly with great communication with all our questions and requests. The Villa and grounds are beautiful with plenty of space for everyone and relaxing round the pool was the best. Great outside bbq area and lovely big dining table by the pool that we enjoyed lots of delicious meals. Kids loved the table tennis, table footy and basketball and obviously the pool. Julie recommended a wine tour that was about a 15 minute drive away and it was a very special place, nothing like we had been to before it was fantastic, very kid friendly and they are very generous with the wine so it was lucky Julie had organised a cab for us. We really can not recommend this villa enough, it has everything you need for a happy relaxing holiday and we can’t recommend it enough. Thank you Julie and Ricardo we hope to return again.

Amazing villa

Fantastic experience.

Myself and my family had the most wonderful time ever here at villa rosa. Probably one of the best holidays in my life! I just absolutely loved the pool and the use of the sauna. Waking up in the morning to the lovely views and palm trees was truly a moment i will never forget. Ricardo and Julie are such a lovely couple. Whenever we needed anything, they were there in 15 minutes and fulfilled all our requests instantly. We realy enjoyed our stay and will miss our stay at villa rosa! I definitely recommend families to stay here for a relaxing holiday. Will come back real soon! Thanks again Ricardo and Julie for looking after us.

A LITTLE SLICE OF PARADISE

As a family of 11 the villa was perfect for us for our 10 night stay. Ricardo and Julie were amazingly helpful prior to our arrival with our endless questions, replying promptly and sending any information we asked for. The villa itself was well equipped and had everything you could need from coffee machine to dishwashers. It accommodated us no trouble at all. We even messaged to ask if there was a guitar for my husband and Ricardo made sure there was one there, which we all had the pleasure of singing along with outside in the evenings. The outside space is amazing, with so many quiet areas if you need time alone. The plants and trees are beautiful and it is obvious that a lot of care goes into maintaining this oasis. The pool was one of our highlights, with three young children in our party they would have stayed in it from morning till night and often did, until the adults took over for our regular pool volleyball competitions. The BBQ area is fab and we used it many times Whilst a car is essential and we did visit Sitges, Barcelona and the water park, we all couldn't wait to get back to the villa. During our stay Ricardo was superb, nothing was too much trouble, helping us sort out horseriding, wine tasting and local restaurants and shops, a true gentleman. On our leaving Julie and Ricardo messaged to say we had left a couple of things and were even prepared to drive to Sitges to get them to us. If anyone is considering booking this villa just book it you won't be disappointed, it is truly outstanding Thank you from each and every one of us

Fantastic villa for two families!

What a great villa and what a fantastic time we had! We were two families holidaying together, 10 of us in total, so the layout of the villa was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone, it was really well equipped and the pool area was just gorgeous, so private and peaceful. It's so beautiful at night time as well when the garden lighting comes on. There are plenty of areas to catch a bit of peace and quiet from everyone if needed and loads to keep the kids, teenagers and adults occupied! The kids loved playing basketball and table tennis. We had a lovely friendly welcome from Ricardo who was so helpful throughout our stay with help on places to visit, things to do, transport etc, thank you Ricardo! The villa is a fantastic base for exploring all around the area and we really enjoyed the time we spent in Sitges and Barcelona. We also loved the little bar/restaurant at the end of the road and had quite a few trips there! It was great to have somewhere to walk to when we didn't feel like cooking or heading further afield. All in all we had a great time and would really recommend this villa. Thank you Ricardo and Julie. xx
