⚠️ Wildlife Notice – Please Read
Our cabin is nestled in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, which means you’re likely to experience the peace of nature… and possibly a visit from its residents! Black bears, raccoons, deer, and other wildlife are commonly seen in the area.
For your safety and theirs:
• Do NOT feed or approach wildlife — ever.
• Keep all food, trash, and scented items (including coolers and pet food) inside or in secured containers.
• Always keep doors and car windows closed and locked. Bears have been known to open vehicles!
• Enjoy wildlife from a distance — binoculars and cameras are encouraged, but close encounters are not.
By staying at our cabin, you agree to follow these guidelines to help protect yourself, future guests, and the incredible wildlife that call this area home.
Nature is beautiful — let’s admire it responsibly! 🐻🌲
***Winter Warning*** The months of December, January, and February are prone to cold, rainy, and snowy weather. Icy roads become very slick and result in poor or even impossible driving conditions. While the location of our cabin isn’t on steep and winding mountain roads travel issues are a possibility at times in the Great Smoky Mountains. NO REFUNDS due to weather or anything out of our control. This is our family cabin/business and while we understand that things happen in life that catch us off-guard no exceptions to our refund policy will be considered. We HIGHLY encourage you to consider purchasing trip protection insurance at checkout if you are concerned about the possibility of a last-minute emergency changing your travel plans.
