We loved our stay at Mountain view tropical retreat. The house is immaculate and is very well set up, with everything you need. It offers heaps of privacy with a stunning view. We really enjoyed watching the Sunbirds, Kookaburras and Metallic starlings around the property. The retreat is in a central location to explore the region. The hosts made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

The property was immaculate with everything you can ask for available. The view and the gardens were beautiful and both the kids and the dogs loved exploring. The locals are super friendly and everything you need is within 5-15 minutes driving distance. Definitely recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway with their family and pets.

An absolutely amazing space! Such a beautiful cottage with stunning views. The cottage was beautifully clean and had everything we needed and more. Came away feeling completely rested while having explored some of the Cassowary Coast’s iconic sights.

Fabulous property and hosts. Our stay was relaxing and everything was just easy. Anything that was needed was there and Ceri was just a message away if needed. We travelled for a family wedding and the trip was made better with our accommodation. Our pet was also welcome. Couldn’t have asked for more.

A beautiful location overlooking lush gardens to the mountains. The home was immaculately presented and tastefully decorated. Quality furnishings and fittings throughout. Wake to the sounds of birds and views cross the garden to the mountains. A quality stay on the edge of Paronella Park. Highly recommend.

Serene, simplicity, superb!

My partner and I escaped for a lovely recoup weekend a discovered this beautiful little property. I must say this B&B certainly surpassed my expectations on all accounts and we left feeling exactly how we needed. Ceri was a wonderful host, welcoming us with a beautiful little care package as we arrived inside, and exceptionally friendly and quick to respond during communication. The recommendations for things to do around the area were great and we came with our two dogs who also enjoyed the property. On all accounts this place is wonderful and we very much look forward to returning for another weekend getaway.

Welcoming, spotless, spacious, peaceful, easy to find, just 10 minutes drive from beautiful Kurramine Beach, 5 minutes from Silkwood Butcher with the BEST meat pies in Australia, we think, perfect for us and our dog, allowed indoors, with grassy lawns to walk on outside. For any longer walks we had to go by car, or walk along the (quiet) road outside but we were out most days anyway. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry we never used, coffee machine we loved, enjoyable extra goodies provided and useful supplies we could have used if needed. We will be back! Thanks Ceri and Steve.
