Traditional bach in the old quieter part of Kinloch. It's only a 2 minute walk to the lake - 5 minutes walk to the dairy, cafe and marina - 10 minutes walk from the famous Jack Nicholas Golf course and cafe. All day sun. Plenty of room to play cricket or volleyball in the backyard. A large covered deck. Only 1 1/2 hours drive to the Chateau and ski-fields.
Kinloch hosts numerous walkways, reserves and tracks ideal for walks and bike rides that are accessible from the bach. The W2K mountain bike/walking trail begins in Kinloch through native bush providing spectacular views across Lake Taupo to the mountains of the Tongariro National Park. The Kawakawa track provides access to Kawakawa Bay otherwise accessible only by boat. Off that is the Otaketake–K2K Loop.
There's great trout fishing spots near Kinloch too - the marina provides easy boat launching.

This house had everything you need and then some. It was a great spot to relax and check out the area. All aspects of the stay were easy and the place was perfect for our family with younger kids.
Many thanks
We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at this property. Communications with the owner were smooth throughout, contributing to a relaxing few days. The property is superbly maintained and equipped, in a lovely and particularly peaceful part of Kinloch. We slept like champions, too.
Fabulous Bach in a great location. Fire was fantastic, beds were comfortable had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner. Will be back for sure.
Needed some where to stay with all the necessities and this place delivered. Siting in the lounge with the fire on after having run the taupo ultra, was ideal !
Loved it.
We loved this little Bach, it was perfect for our little family of four, great location just up from the kinloch general store, the lake beach, playground and bike tracks. The Bach was Cosy abs warm with the fire and had so much entertainment that took me back! Puzzles, scrabble, pick up sticks, monkeys in a barrel, and many more not to mention a large selection of DVDs. Peter and Linda were great communicators and everything was very straight forward from booking right through to checking out. Would highly recommend.
Perfect, cozy, peaceful spot for our annual father & sons get-together.
Couldn't be better located for a quick trip to the boat ramp.
Fireplace is an absolute autumn winner.
Good location and plenty of room for a boat.
Beds are comfortable, kitchen is very well equiped, nice and cold fridge.
If it has the ammenities you need then this is the house for you.
Classic kiwi bach with just the right level of comforts to make our Autumn stay enjoyable. The fireplace allowed us to keep the living area cosy & warm as the temperatures fell, plus a bit of warming left over for the bedrooms.
Ideally located for our fishing trips - just 3 minutes down to the marina. Great fun.
Great location and property for timeout with my family. It was perfect with the outside room used by my daughter and her baby. Would definitely recommend 👍

We have owned and loved this property for over 35 years initially living here then spending many happy holidays here. The property has evolved to fit family requirements but has retained its original "bachy" charm.
