Beautiful!

Perfect location just a block (like 60 steps) off the beach, very clean, awesome fenced yard, grill, EVERYTHING you need to have a great vacation with family - and pups! Great beach bar just steps up the beach with good food and cold drinks - 7/11 at end of road. This is the perfect off the beaten path vacation house - we love it and will be back!

Great location, home and yard!

My other half, myself and our furbabies came for a family vacation. It was our first time in the area and we could not have done better. First, the location is amazing. There is access on foot to the bay side from the neighborhood and the beach access is at the end of the road. The home was a perfect size for us. We (dogs mostly) thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space. There was a wonderful breeze at all times and we even enjoyed listening to the rain under the covered patio. The home has plenty of beach accessories and towels/blankets. Beach wagon, chairs, umbrella, canopy, coolers. Washer dryer worked great. Comfy furniture and private home.

Amazing location and perfect for our family!

We rented this house on Sunset Beach for a family trip to visit our Florida family members for the holidays. It was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog loved the fenced yard! Geoff and Brandi were extremely prompt with replies and information needed. The beds were very comfortable and there were so many extras for the beach (wagon, shade canopy, toys, and so much more!). The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing the sand off before heading inside. My teenage daughter did recommend a full length mirror to make sure her outfits looked just right 😆 but that would be our only teeny tiny request! Awesome home, amazing location, thank you!!

Cozy and Quiet

We really enjoyed this location. It’s our first time to the area and weren’t sure what to expect. We spend lazy days in the backyard watching the birds, sitting with coffee and feeling nestled among the palm trees. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The house has everything we needed. It’s just the right size with all the perks of having beach access so close by. The laundry room is such a great idea being in the carport area where the noise doesn’t disturb you while being in the house. We loved the beach cruisers, what a fun time!

Great stay

I was hesitant writing as wanted this place too ourselves. For 3-4 people it’s great ! Great location , interior is all updated , great kitchen , beds very comfortable . Fenced for the dog , and my favorite and outdoor shower. Owner is great , and owns a segway company downtown at Pete really nice tour .

Perfect in so many ways!

Bottom line is this is a great little house for anyone wanting to be slightly away from the crowds and just off the beach! We brought our two dogs who enjoyed the fenced in property and covered car port area for shade. The beach is like a block away from the front door with very few people on it - yet there is a beach bar just up the shore line with a daily crowd for drinks and food. Check in was simple. Loved every minute of our stay!

Best bungalow at the beach!

A great family rental with two teenagers. The kitchen appliances and furniture were nice. The walk to the beach was even easier than if I had stayed at a beach side resort.

The Good and the Bad

Dates of stay June 11-18, 2021. There is no question this is a beautifully renovated beach house. Absolutely stunning! However the absence of regular pest control and a cleaning crew not performing a “deep clean” that the host stated they paid for, left us with filthy floors (swept but not mopped for quite some time) disgusting shower liner (we had to wash it twice) and damp towels, more wet than dry, folded and put away in the linen closet and a roach infestation mainly in the living room sofa and outside laundry room. When I requested a refund for the cleaning fee and one days stay (we spent prime beach time waiting on pest control), the host told us “Due to the amount of booking request we turn down for this time we are unable to refund you any money.” I’m left with no choice other than go to Vrbo directly.

We found the home to be better than expected, so close to beach with updated, clean, bright, new appealing decor. Owner was super kind, accessible, and responsive. You can have quiet or more beach action and live music within a short walk.

Nice Beach

We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts. Location was perfect, and Geoff and Brandi were extremely responsive and generous with their beach gear. The place is small, but again Geoff and Brandi were very upfront about that, so we knew what to expect.
