Shopping and sightseeing in Dargaville. Day excursions to Kaiiwi Lakes and Waipoua Forest etc. The kaipara Harbour is the second largest Harbour in the world known for great fishing and exploring. the peninsula is situated south of Dargaville with beautiful farmland all around . Duck shooting and pheasant shooting is well known here. A great place to relax and wonder around.

Idillyc stay

Yvonne was amazing and the property is amazing too... Enough space for the dogs to run and have fun and central enough to great spots like the pouto lighthouse and the kai iwi lakes. We had the best time thank you again... We will definitely be back again. A great place to disconnect from the modern world and enjoy family time without distractions. Beds were comfortable, plenty of kitchen appliances and spacious rooms for everyone.

Very Tranquil location

Perfect place if you want get away to a quiet place. for kids to enjoyed the walks in the farm. Yvonne is a lovely host, made sure we were comfortable and gave us yummy home made ginger slices 😊.
