Abode Luxury Rentals are a great host!

Outstanding location....walk across the street to Stein Eriksen or 4-minute walk (in ski boots) to Silver Lake base and complimentary ski valet. The Black Bear shuttle is great for a ride to Main St or to St Regis. Unit is exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Perfect Spot for Deer Valley

Having never stayed mid-mountain before, we weren't sure what to expect. Check-in was a breeze and they kindly had full size bath supplies as well as wine and water and snacks for us. The lodge is directly across the street from Stein Ericksen and the Goldner Hirsch so there were ample dining options. The condo is a 3 minute walk from the Sterling Lodge and lifts and there's ski storage so you don't have to carry them back and forth each day. The condo was perfect for our family of 6 and the hot tub and fireplace were used daily. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a convenient, central, easy vacation!

Black Bear 201

We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights at Black Bear 201. This is our second time staying with Abode, who is a great property manager. They are always available to help us or answer questions when needed. The unit was very nice, close to the slopes and the hot tub was key. The bedrooms are huge and plenty of hot water, even with 4 people taking showers. We cooked several nights in the kitchen and everything was provided. Only real complaint is there is no pantry to store food items, but that is a quibble. We would definitely stay there again!

We rent many properties through VRBO. This was not one of the better properties. Pros: Great location. Easy 2-5 minute walk to Silver Lake Bedding very nice. Plenty of bathroom towels. Could use some kitchen towels. Very responsive staff to issues we had during our stay. Nice welcome gift of beer/cheese/sausage/wine Easy online check-in Underground parking Cons: Worn carpet coming apart in places Bathroom faucet handle was broken Bathroom tub faucet steady leak Hot Tub cover broken and control panel very difficult to program as it was so worn down. No directions on how to set temperature/jets. Impossible to get to control panel without being in the hot tub. Water was cold 3 of the days and unusable. Water level was low when we arrived. Maintenance had to come up and add water as heater stopped working due to low water level. Cover for hot tub got stuck between deck railing and the hot tub on first day. Impossible to move and had to have 2 maintenance people come up and move it. Awaiting for management to get back to me on compensation for the issues we incurred while staying at Black Bear Lodge.

Thank you for a very nice stay in Deer Valley. We stayed in unit 201 at Black Bear Lodge. I'd say in general everything was very good with our stay. We enjoyed the hot tub, the heating was fine. We really appreciated the snacks and wine that was left for us as well.

Abode Rentals did an amazing job, could not recommend them more highly. The place was beautiful and well-maintained. They even had fancy thin wine glasses. The team was great and always very helpful. They even added many nice touches to the place such as food and drinks and had music playing when we arrived. The shuttle service was great and easy to book and everything smooth sailing from start to finish.

Perfect for Skiing

Great location - close enough to return for lunch and go back out for the afternoon. Condo was perfectly set up for Parents and 2 teens. Each teen had their own bathroom which made leaving in the am perfect!
