This is a lovely place to stay as well as being a perfect base for exploring the area around Mount Cook. A very helpful owner recommended the local lavender fields, which were a great success. Would stay there again - recommended!

What a great cottage to stay between Christchurch and Queenstown. Cozy, warm, gorgeous porch to watch the world go by. Everything you could want. Great host. Short drive into Mt Cook National Park and Twizel is charming.

Nice place, good location. Would’ve thought that the hosts would’ve communicated more with us about a snow storm that hit during the one full day that we were there (even just to make sure that we were okay, if not to let us know the weather expectation ahead of time), but other than that it was good!
