Conveniently located family-sized bach

Constructed over several levels, this classic 70s home provides multiple living spaces, and is a great place for groups or smaller parties to enjoy.
The bach has all the amenities you could need for a neat holiday. It also has plenty of offstreet parking for boats and other toys, and is within walking distance to the Great Lakes Events centre, the riverside market, marina, and the town centre. It is a popular choice for visitors in town for one of Taupo's many sporting or cultural events.
Special conditions:
This bach has stairs and a mezzanine floor (railed) which those with children should be mindful of.
Smoking is only allowed outside.
No stag dos.
The owners reserve the right to have a minimum stay of three nights for some long or event weekends.
Check in is 2pm. Checkout is 10am.

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$75.00 per stay), and rubbish must be taken away.
Linen (sheets, pillow cases, towels) can be provided for $75.00 per stay. Please advise in your booking request if you would like to hire linen, and that charge will be added.

Slice of heaven!

My girl friends and I stayed for 4 nights and we loved how spacious it was, it didn’t feel cramped with all of us and we loved the backyard to play games in. The house is so close to a lot of attractions which was super handy. Would definitely book again!

Awesome place

Great property for several families - plenty of space/beds and convenient location. Big grassy garden that's fenced. Good indoor and outdoor eating options. Lovely view over lake. For parents with toddlers, they would need to be confident on stairs.

Family Time

Loved the property, great communication, and easy to deal with especially when we decided to add on the linen service a few days before. kids loved it, very well eqipped and loved that everyhhing was there and just replace anything if we used it. One little hiccup the ranch slider was very hard to open and close sliding wise (& lock) but overall loved it would book again, great space, thank you so much Michelle & Family

Great get awat

Had a lovely long weekend in this quirky Bach…so many hidden doors and rooms for kids to play in. Only issue was the tv we had a couple of rainy days and loads of dvds available unfortunately the tv played only in black and white…contacted owner no response. But other than that a great Bach!!

Weekend away

This is a flexible property designed for more than one family or just one large tribe. Location to town was great. The host was fantastic to deal with. A lot of character with this property. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Great Little bach

We loved our stay, was perfect for the two families, the weather wasn’t great but the kids were able to play out in the big back yard, with all the split levels it kept the kids busy, everything was great, great location, close to town etc, the only thing is that the windows in the bedrooms had a draft, but with the little heaters and the heat pump it was warm enough :)

Great Family Place To Stay In Taupo

Great property, we had two families of two adults and two children each (8 total) and this was perfect for us! Big back yard for the kids to play in. Super close to the city centre. Excellent communication from owners. Thanks for having us, we will be back for sure!

Stayed for a family gathering

Had a great time staying at this property. The house has lots of space and was ideal, as there were 10 of us staying together for a family occasion. Easy and cheap to get a taxi van to town. Really enjoyed ourselves. Great view of the lake from upstairs.

Great weekend away!

Had a lovely time, came to Taupo with a group of friends and we all loved the house. Clean, tidy and most importantly close to town! Would highly recommend for groups of friends or families.

Very good experience

A range of ages stayed here for a wedding in Taupo. The property was very nice, accommodated for all our needs and was a close walk to the town centre. Would absolutely stay here again.
