Whether it's boating, kayaking, paddle boarding or just lying on the beach soaking up the sunshine; the stunning white sand lagoon that is Matapouri Estuary is the perfect spot for the family! Safe swimming for small children. Main beach is just a short walk away. Only 10 min drive away from the Tutukaka Marina, close proximity to shops, restaurants, world class diving, game fishing and sight-seeing operators. Matapouri Bay is recognised by the Lonely Planet guide as being among the best beaches in New Zealand.

Unit 3 is a garden view 1.5 bedroom, self contained unit with outdoor seating area. Bedroom consists of a queen bed with 1x single bunk and 1x single bed.

Location Wonderful. Accommodation perfect.

The accommodation was good. Would have easily slept 5 with ample space for everyone. The communication was amazing. Questions were answered quickly. Any issues were dealt with the minimum of fuss. Would happily recommend to anyone interested in staying here. Looking forward to coming back.

This was a clean and tidy unit. It was comfortable. It had all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The location was very good. It was a basement/downstairs unit so there are limitations associated with that.

Excellent stay thank you

The property is clean and tidy and has everything you need. Our kids had a ball making the most of the paddle board, kayaks and push bikes available for use and the beach is on your doorstep. We will come back for sure.

Great stay in Matapouri

We had a great Easter in Matapouri. The Bach was perfectly located opposite the beach and had everything we needed. We made good use of the kayaks and paddle board in the estuary and spent most of our time at the beach.

The property is basic but spacious and comfortable. Very close to the estuary and a 10 minute walk to the main beach. For the price, it's very good value and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will probably book again sometime.
