Relax in the comfort of a newly renovated Batch with modern decor. Situated in the heart of Orepuki.d Orepuki Retreat is self contained, clean and has all the creature comforts of home including Sky TV.

Riverton is a 20 minute drive or Tuatapere is 15 minutes and both offer all the amenities you will need. Tuatapere and Riverton both offer 24hour fuel.

Take a stroll to the beach, only a short five minute walk or a bit further to Monkey Island. Monkey Island is accessible at low tide, only a five minute drive or half an hour walk south along the beach and take in the stunning views on the way. Gem Stone Beach is a 15 minute walk north and you never know your luck in finding that precious gem.

Orepuki Tavern is only a two minute walk and has amenities such and Milk and Bread and free Wifi, while the Orepuki Beach Cafe offers a vast menu to please most taste buds, both open seven days.

Should you wish to cook your own, Orepuki retreat has a well equiped kitchen, gas hobs, coffee machine (Nespresso pods - please bring your own),

The property we are continually improving and have recently put a new fence around the property ensuring dogs and little kids will be safe while staying with us.

Special conditions:

Pets are allowed but limited to outdoors only - Open Kennel Available

Please note that all dog poo is to be picked up before departure.

Perfect location for our needs.We did get some unexpected visitors a couple of hours after our arrival. Our vehicle had gone to the beach but my daughter and I were still at the house so these visitors abruptly left again when they realised that there was someone at the property.

Clean rooms, comfortable lounge and space. Shower water needs addressed as to keeping it in the shower. No ocean view but a great relaxing view of the hills. Would definitely book again when needed

Great wee bach, we’ll- stocked with everything you could need. Note - no wifi , watch the shower as not able to adjust height and can make the bathroom floor very wet.

Warm and comfortable spaces. Only down sides, were no WIFI passwords given and Owner didn't respond to request. First aid kit was empty of plasters. An instruction manual for the oven would have helped also.

Awesome holiday!

Absolutely perfect. Clean house, and warm too. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well set up. Thanks for allowing the dogs. The goat Kevin across the road was hilarious and the cows next door keen to say hi. Really close to the beach, and the information book really helpful. Highly recommend this property for a holiday, and we will definitely be back.

Awesome quite location

Great quite place to stay. Awesome if you have dogs.. fenced in section and beaches close by for them to run around. Amazing cliffs and scenery at the beaches.. so unusual to see snow covered mountains behind a beach like that! We collected so many gem stones the kids loved it :-) friendly people at the local pub which is a 2 min walk away they really accommodate for kids there as well with toys and these 2 awesome chatty parrots as well! Food was awesome and the beer was cheaper then your usual city pub. We would definitely go back.

Great space for family get away

Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Shame the beds in sleep out where like hammocks. I ended up sleeping on the couch for 2 nights as double bed and bunks in sleep out where not made for people with bad backs. The door handle to the bathroom was almost falling off. Which kinda freaked me out As I thought I’d get locked in. Overall great place to stay.
