Sunny and spacious family/ group accommodation

Modern, sunny, and spacious 5 bedroom apartment.

Our accommodation is often used for sports team, temporary staff accommodation, holidays with friends - we cater for all.

This will make the perfect home away from home when you are on holiday.

Free WIFI, SKY Basic (on Request), power, water, and linen is included in your stay.

Stay for a little or a long time, we accommodate anywhere from 3 days to long stay with competitive rates.

Enjoy your own private courtyard for entertaining or relaxing. BBQ available on request.

Spacious living areas and kitchen downstairs, with bedrooms upstairs.

Bedrooms are 1 x master with king split, 1 x queen, and three rooms with 2 x singles

We are baby and child friendly - portacots are available on request.

Get to the city within 5 minutes. Sumner, New Brighton just a short drive away. A selection of local bars, restaurants, and bars are close by.

The mall is a short drive or a walk away and the ice skating rink, and other attractions are in neighbouring areas.

Good place to get sorted out

The property is exactly as described. It was a good place to end our trip and pack up in. We couldn't access the garage and parked on the street which worked ok.

Property was very unclean.

Got to property very tired, only to find it was not clean. There was pubic hair in bathroom sink. Hair and scum left in showers. Floors where definitely not vacuumed or mopped thru out the whole house. I even was able to write a message in the slime, on the coffee table asking for it to be cleaned. Downstairs toilet mirror was covered in soap splashes etc Bin in hallway lid would not stay shut so stunk and was covered in food scrapes. Fridge had left over food and rice scraps from previous people. Cooker cabinets had grease and food splashed all over so has not been cleaned for a while. I could go on and on so this place was disgusting and very upsetting. We did speak to the owner and they said they could send someone but by that time it really wasn’t worth it, just hope they clean it before next poor visitors.

Needs a clean

This was my first experience using BookABatch, and found it to be disappointing. The house is in an area of high density housing, and attached on two sides. The neighbours are incredibly loud and can be heard through the walls, and leave loudly for work at 4:30 AM every day. The rooms are small, and the space is not suitable for a large group. The toilet is attached to the kitchen, there were spider webs, dust and nail clippings beside the bed. The fact there’s a cleaning fee is pretty embarrassing. The shower leaks through the roof into the light fittings in the lounge; the host was alerted but it was not addressed for the following three days before we left. The dishwasher doesn’t work, the coffee plunger has mould on the mesh, the air conditioning remote batteries were dead, there’s no heaters upstairs in the bedrooms (there’s one in the king room but it doesn’t output heat), and a single cooling fan was only supplied upon request. There’s also a dearth of electrical outlets (none in the bathrooms, and none near the work desks in the bedrooms). One of our team left to stay in a hotel midway through our stay due to the noise from the neighbours and the terrible bed in the queen room. The blinds are broken and don’t stay up, the bins were full on our arrival, and the shower door appears to have not been cleaned for months. Not a particularly nice area of Christchurch (crime-rate wise) and the security gate was broken. Very small garage not large enough for our vehicles so had to park on road. Overall, in need of a proper clean and not suitable for large groups if wanting any personal space.

Nice as a base - needs a clean

Nice to use as a base for a group of teammates from outside CHCH. Unfortunately it was more 'flat clean' than 'house clean'. Pots and glasses needed a wash before use. Possibly a lawn mow would be useful as well. But nice placement for use as a base during team hui.

Great size apartment - plenty of beds

The lack of basic conveniences like soap, coffee sachets was disappointing. The linen was clean no issues there. It was just the kitchen and bathroom floors and benches, fridge and cupboard doors that were grubby and the plates looked like they needed a good wash in hot water. (sorry)

Good size property for group/family, but needs cleaning

This property is perfect for large groups. Has secure car parking in the garage. Close to town and quiet. Property was not clean on arrival, dirty tables, bathrooms not clean. Dishwasher only worked on half load and didn’t clean dishes well. Food in freezer and bits of rubbish under beds/in drawers. Leaking toilet downstairs. Lounge furniture needed repair or replacement, one couch damaged. Would help to have extra blankets available. Hard to justify being charged a cleaning fee when it wasn’t clean on arrival.

overall it serves it purpose of having a few family members stay together but all in all was in need of some tlc! light bulbs not going, lawns not mowed, very little cooking pots etc considering it's a 5 bedroom house, only minx blankets on bigger beds which even adding more wasn't warm enough, security gate didn't work as nxt door broke it, not in the best area but very central
