This modern, bright, cheerful one bedroom apartment is situated along Wakefield Quay, Nelsons waterfront. It is 2.5km to the city centre so nice and handy to all main shopping areas. If you head the other direction this will take you to Tahuna beach which is a nice walk 3.2 km walk along the waterfront. The apartment is a roomy 61m2 and has an additional balcony. Watch the boats come and go or even bring your fishing rod to sit at the pier and try your luck or better still just jump in for a swim. There are four restaurants just a hop skip and jump away, weather you enjoy Thai food or Nelsons top notch seafood restaurant "the boat shed" the choice is endless. Maybe even fish and chips or buy fresh fish from the famous Guytons fisheries shop across the road. Also across the road Kayaks can be hired to spend an afternoon exploring the waterfront area. Please note that like all Nelsons waterfront properties it is situated on a main road so traffic noise can be excessive from the balcony. Double glazed doors stop any noise inside the apartment so it does not effect sleeping. The sleeping area is in the rear of the apartment furthest from the road. Just a 45 minute drive will take you to the beautiful Kiateriteiri beach and then onto the Abel Tasman National Park where you can make a boat trip around the gorgeous bays. If you fancy smoked salmon stop off at the Mapua village whalf on your way, its worth it. We believe its the little things count when being on holiday and this comfortable apartment has been tastefully redecorated and a bathroom upgrade has been completed in April 2021and nothing has been left unthought of. All linen is provided and free ultra fast broadband is available. For the coffee lovers a Nespresso machine is also available with complementary pods. The TV is also a smart TV and Netflix can accessed your your own account, Prime is also available. Free secure parking is also available inside the building. Right next door to Apartment 4 is also Apartment 5 that we also rent out so if you have extra family or friends that you would like to be near you this is avaible for holiday rental also. apartment was very comfortable and had everything needed to have a home away from home, close to down town and Restuarant's. Great view across harbour.
Great value for the money, with everything you need.
Great stay, location and the induction was fantastic.
Only Suggest improvement would for the heat pump to work on heat mode, for those chilly mornings/late nights.

Karryn’s apartment was a great base for us while in Nelson for work. Close to town and excellent facilities for us to work and cook with in the apartment.

Thanks for your feedback, the apartment is on the waterfront therefore on a main road, the double glazing helps to assist with any noise while inside and is minimal and does not effect sleeping. During weekends and evenings this should have also been minimal. I hope it did not impact your stay to much and hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise.
What an absolute gem of a place. Fantastic communication and Amanda was so friendly and helpful. Loved the decor, being able to watch what was happening on the water. Central to lots of activities, warm, modern and clean. The only drawback was a bit noisy with road traffic during the day but not a biggie
Karryn was very accomodating when our flight got canceled and we had to arrive later. Appartment was very clean, well equiped and comfortable.
Struggled with road noise a little but we live rurally so not used to any noise! Handy having the eateries across the road. Glad we decided to stay this part of town rather than In the town as it was still close to everything but with a lovely ocean view.
We really enjoyed how new the apartment was and the building itself was really well taken care of and quiet. The bed was really comfortable with nice bedding and the kitchen had a lot of nice kitchen gadgets and all the basics too. As mentioned by others the street below is noisy but we were still fine sitting outside in the evenings and the road allowed for quick access to many attractions outside of the town and no issues with noise in the condo. Would definitely recommend if you want to be near the water.

However whilst it is wheelchair accessible the bathroom was not user friendly a wheelchair bound person - we could get into the bathroom and use the sink and toilet but the shower was completely inaccessible sadly - also the bed was v high so had to lift wheelchair bound guest up onto the bed
I would definitely stay again as if I was coming on my own as it was a lovely place but not with wheelchair bound husband
Awesome apartment with everything you need and more. We had a great stay. Handy location. Check in process was easy. Carpark is a bit tight if you have a larger car. Highly recommend The Styx restaurant across the road.
