"Villa del Arte" has been built in the typical Lefkadian style and can host up to four persons. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens it has a wonderful panoramic view of the Sea, the mountains, the mainland, and the island of Kalamos. For absolute privacy, it stands on a 4000 sqm property with olive trees, Cypresses, Pinetrees, and beautiful shrubs. The ideal place for anyone who wishes to find tranquillity and to enjoy the stunning Mediterranean landscape.
Apartment 95 sqm:
The spacy, comfortable apartment, beautifully decorated with antiquities and art objects, has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The living area has air conditioning, a fireplace, a library, satellite TV, DVD, Stereo, free WiFi Internet connection, and two very comfortable sofa beds.
French windows open from all rooms onto a large balcony that runs along the whole house front and provides you with a beautiful view.
There is one master bedroom with a big double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Another bathroom with shower/WC provides for more guests.
A comfortable, large kitchen area is equipped with a dishwasher, stove, freezer/deep-freeze, washing machine, coffee machine, microwave, blender, iron, and many other extras to make life easy.
The house has air conditioning in all rooms, a central heating system, and a fireplace for winter.
A big garden terrace equipped with garden furniture invites you to sunbathe and enjoy the spectacular view at any time of the day.
You can moor your own boat or yacht in the nearby port of Lygia (within 10 Minutes' walk).
The owner speaks English, Greek, German, and a little Italian and will enjoy giving you a lot of insider information about places (beaches, water sports, hiking trails, monasteries, archaeological sites, museums, events, restaurants, nightly entertainment, etc., etc.

Wunderschöner Platz

Vor Anreise bekamen wir von der Gastgeberin eine Wegbeschreibung, sodass wir das Haus gut finden konnten. Das große und gepflegte Haus lädt direkt zum verweilen ein. Der Blick von dort zum Meer und den umliegenden Inseln ist beeindruckend. Die Whg. ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat nichts gefehlt. Thea, die Gastgeberin ist herzlich und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche auf der sehr schönen Insel Lefkada.

Sehr schönes Wohnung mit super Aussicht

Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt, die Lage ist herrlich. Besonders der Blick von der Terrasse war traumhaft. Das hat aber seinen Preis, denn die Anfahrt ist nicht ganz einfach. Auto ok, aber mit dem Rad lässt sich die Steigung nicht bewältigen, weder hoch noch runter. Das fanden wir ein wenig schade, aber die 300 m haben wir die Räder halt geschoben. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Thea ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin, die immer bemüht ist das es den Gästen gut geht. Die Insel ist schön und man kann viel unternehmen. Strände gibt es reichlich, von voll bis leer alles vorhanden. Dazu braucht man aber definitiv einen fahrbaren Untersatz. Wir geben eine klare Weiterempfehlung. 👍

Wunderschönen Ferienwohnung mit super Aussicht!!!

Uns hatte es rund um unbeschreiblich gut gefallen!!! Wohnung ist liebevoll und gemütlich ausgestattet, ist alles da was man brauchen kann 😀 Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatte immer gute Tips was lohnenswert und empfehlenswert ist. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Von denn wunderschönen Balkon und der bezaubernde Aussicht konnten wir persönlich nicht genug bekommen 😍😍😍 Würde auch gerne wiederkommen 💖💖💖

Belle location avec une superbe vue

Nous avons découvert Lefkada, île superbe mais assez fréquentée au cœur de l’été. La maison est très agréable, équipée, propre et dispose d’une superbe vue sur la mer, la maison étant située dans les collines, isolée et en retrait de la route côtière assez fréquentée. Il faut prendre sa voiture pour aller à la plage (quelques petites plages à proximité), faire ses courses ou aller au restaurant. Nous étions 3 personnes et avons loué la partie supérieure de la maison (une chambre, 2 sdb, un grand salon-cuisine et une très belle terrasse). Thea est une hôtesse accueillante qui vit là à l’année et connaît très bien Lefkada..

Thank you Stephane. Yes, it's right, Villa del Arte is situated in a secluded spot, high above the sea, but just 300 meters distance to the water. That creates definitely a stunning sea view. I like my guests to be informed about good places, like restaurants, beaches, sight-seeing tours and special biat trips. So I wrote all my little tips down and hand it over to all my visitors. Since most of them have just a few precious days for holiday, they should not spend their time searching. Well, Stephane, I hope to see you and your family again some time. All the best, Thea

wundervoller Ausblick

Wir haben in einer Woche in der Ferienwohnung nichts vermisst, sie ist komplett ausgestattet und sehr sauber und einladend. Die Vermieterin wohnt im Haus und steht mit Tipps zur Tagesgestaltung zur Verfügung. So haben wir viel von der Insel gesehen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Mir ist es wichtig, daß Sie in Ihrer Ferienwohnung auch all die Kleinigkeiten wiederfinden, die zuhause selbstverständlich sind, die einem aber nur dann auffallen, wenn sie fehlen. Es war mir ein Vergnügen auf die Schönheiten von Lefkas hinzuweisen und ich habe gern darauf geachtet, daß Sie keine sehenswerten Strände und Orte verpassen. Meine Liste mit Restaurants, die ich empfehlen kann, in Verbindung mit kleinen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe, hat es Ihnen hoffentlich etwas leichter gemacht, schöne Ferientage zu gestalten. Wenn Sie es einmal ermöglichen können, im Herbst oder Frühling zu kommen, könnte ich Ihnen noch viele Tips zu herrlichen Wanderrouten, archäologischen Stätten, byzantinischen Klöstern und vielen anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten geben.

I am a painter and a former fine arts teacher and live now since about 16 years nearly always in Greece. For many years I was married to a Greek and therefor know this country, its language, the people and their ways very well. I love Lefkas with its wonderful beaches and the lush green nature and I can tell you a lot about the island and Greece. If you like, I could even give lessons in painting, specially watercolor.

Why they chose this property

Because it offers a unique view over the sea at islands in more than 40 km distance. This is due to the remarkably short distance to the shore (300 m) and its altitude (70 m). The next beach you find right underneath the house at only 300 m distance. In spite of all that it takes only a 6 km drive to reach the city. A place like that is not easily found.
Moreover, I can give you a lot of insider information about places (beaches, water sports, hiking trails, monasteries, archaeological sites, museums, events, restaurants, nightly entertainment, etc.) in English, German or Greek.

What makes this property unique

Proximity to the city (restaurants, shops, entertainment, port, bus station, hospital, etc.) in 10 minutes you are there. East coast of the island, sheltered from strong winds, the sunrise wakes you up in the morning, otherwise only the roosters. Always the sea, in the moonlight, in front of cypress-covered hills in silhouette, red sea and sky before sunrise, blue sea in all variations, depending on the atmosphere and time of day.
