Lovely 2 bedroom holiday home located right in the centre of Pukenui. Walking distance to the wharf, 4 Square, Liquor Shop, Cafe, Houhora Big Game Fishing Club and minutes drive to Cape Reinga and some of the best beaches in NZ. Perfect for families, room for the boat and even a tent. BBQ, dishwasher, laundry, TV, Fridge/freezer ....... Pets by arrangement. We look forward to hosting you.

Shell Cottage is a lovely cottage, perfect location to base yourself for touring the far north, and right beside the 4Square, takeaways, pub...Very clean, well set up with all you need...Quick comms with the manager/owner when I msgd them (via book a bach app) after too. Definitely recommended- we will stay again if we ever stay up this way again

Great cottage with plenty of room. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Very convenient location in the centre of Pukenui. The mattress on the bottom bunk could do with replacing as it’s quite thin and uncomfortable but other than that we had a wonderful stay. Such a lovely place to visit and excellent location to explore from. The locals were so friendly and welcoming.

Great location to explore the top end of Northland as easy access to the Cape, the dunes, ninety mile beach and the gumdigger park without having a super long day. Everything was seamless from checkin to checkout, was well appointed and comfortable, and a location with easy access to a cafe/bar and grocery store until 8pm. Shell Cottage could easily be called home for more than the one night we had time for.

My stay was perfect, the house has a very warm and homely feel to it, which made it quite comfortable and relaxing. The location was also very acessable and easy find. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend. I also want to say the host was extemely kind and helpful, she helped return my neclace that I left behind. I am extremely grateful, thank you again for your kindness.

Peaceful Shell Cottage

Was a wonderful place to stay everything in walking distance and it was great to see Lisa in the four square will be back again with our daughter to experience this all again

Very nice accomodation

Great location, close to Cape Reinga an 90 miles beach. Café and supermarket just around the corner, lots of space, close to the harbour and other swimming spots.
