Funky retro beach bach

This property has been freshly renovated to enhance those nostalgic Kiwi bach features as well as providing everything you need for a comfortable relaxing beach holiday with friends or family. Short walk to Waihi Beach village enables you to get supplies, visit interesting shops and art galleries and walking distance to fantastic restaurants and cafes. Our location allows you walking distance to beautiful walking tracks and only and short drive to the start of the cycle rail trail in Karangahake Gorge. This bach can be opened up to enjoy sun drenched decks and barbecues as well as being warm and cosy with a log burner in winter for those cosy getaways.
Each room has been tastefully decorated featuring original local art that reflects our beautiful coastal environment. Quality linen is supplied and ready for you to arrive, relax and enjoy.

We loved our stay at Bach 28! Great location close to the shops, surf club, cafes and right opposite a cut through to the beach. The bach was private, clean, and bigger than expected. The perfect getaway for our family with a 5 year old and 2 year old and we would absolutely book here again!

Great little cottage by the beach

We stayed here a few nights while visiting New Zealand and it was great. The beach is a short walk away and some other things were just a short drive. The Flat White Cafe right on the beach is a must.

Friendly hosts, easy check-in and check-out, and good location. Attended a wedding at Flatwhite — only a 10 min walk to restaurant/beach, and 10 min walk to the main street of stores and shops. Thanks for the stay!
