ABOUT THE PLACE:

The Space:

Our home strikes the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility—just minutes from the highway yet so peaceful you won’t hear traffic. Instead, you’ll be serenaded by birdsong and forest sounds—and you might even see deer strolling through the yard!

Guest Information & Amenities:

* Cat on Property: We have a sweet, senior cat who lives upstairs and is usually content in our private space—though he sometimes wander downstairs. We mention this for allergy awareness—most guests with mild sensitivities are fine, but please check with your doctor if needed.

* Laundry: Available for guests at $10 CAD per load for stays shorter than 2 nights. For stays of 3 nights or more, laundry use is free of charge. Please refrain from using the washer and dryer after 11:00 PM to respect quiet hours. Payment can be made by cash, e-transfer, or added as an extra charge through Airbnb.

* Hot Breakfast Included: Enjoy a hearty, home-cooked breakfast—served at a time that fits your schedule. Just let us know your preferred timing and any dietary preferences or allergies in advance.

* Infants under 2 stay free: We understand little ones often skip breakfast—or share a parent’s plate—given our hearty morning offerings. However, if your infant would like their own meal, just let us know. We can prepare an age-appropriate breakfast for $15, payable by cash, e-transfer, or added to your Airbnb booking.

* Group Size: More than four guests? Please message in advance—we’re happy to accommodate.

Guests enjoy exclusive access to the full lower level, which is separated from the shared main level by two short flights of stairs. While not closed off by a door, this setup offers privacy and a quiet retreat. Included in the suite:

We’re usually on-site throughout your stay but will always respect your need for privacy. If we are out, we will provide you with the door code to the front entrance. Feel free to chat with us as much—or as little—as you like. Drinking Water is safe from the tap, with filtered water also available.

Smoking/Vaping is only permitted outdoors—ashtrays are on the patios.

Kitchen Use & Cleanup Guidelines:
Please wash any dishes or cookware you use during your stay.
Utensils from the downstairs suite can be cleaned in the main kitchen upstairs.
Our dishwasher is reserved for larger loads—we kindly ask you to rinse and stack smaller items. Hosts will take care of breakfast dishes.

Leftovers? Just let us know—you’re welcome to leave anything you don’t take, and we’ll dispose of it responsibly.
