Exactly what we were looking for. The room layout was a little funky but provided each of the three couples with with privacy and their own bathroom. The property was very rural yet close to restaurants and Wild Waves. The host was gracious and responsive although we had no issues that needed attention. Only regret is that we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub or other onsite amenities as we had a pretty full schedule.

Nice, clean, well appointed, large house with tons of room for our family of 6 adults and 4 small children. Well cared for house with upgrades in much of the house. We loved the fun & beautiful mural paintings on many walls, and our toddlers loved the sailing ship cubby hole. A few electrical outlets had issues, but nothing that was a big deal. Host was very responsive. If we are in the area again we would happily stay here again. Oh, and the botanical garden a mile up the road was an added bonus. Free admission and well worth adding it to your stay.

This is a lovely home. Host was very responsive to our contacts. The home was very clean with wonderful beds and bed linens. Our only disappointment was that the toilet in the Master bedroom stopped working half way through our stay. Thankfully there were other bathrooms available with working toilets. Just a heads up that there are a lot of stairs throughout the multilevel home, which were challenging to our senior family members. We would definitely rent the home again. There is a lot of space for a large family.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review. We're so glad the home's cleanliness, comfortable beds, and spacious layout made for a great stay with your family, and that communication was easy throughout your trip. We appreciate the heads up about the stairs for future guests planning their visit, and we're happy to hear this is a home you'd choose again for a large family gathering. We look forward to welcoming you back.

The house was great with the number of bedrooms and living areas and game room. The owner was responsive to our questions.Had a few problems with the hot tub and TV connection to the Internet that we told the owner about. My suggestion would be to leave a notebook with instructions on the toilet in the upstairs master suite bathroom, the hot tub and how to reset the TV connection to the Internet

Very spacious, clean, and welcoming. We had the kids and grandkids and there was space and fun for everyone. Close to the markets and places to eat, yet very remote and quiet. We really enjoyed our time there!

Great House

Wonderful House, lots of room to spread out. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us ( we had a family of 8) the kitchen was spacious and had lots of counter space. The kids enjoyed the pool table that converted to the air hockey in the garage. The hot tub was also great. We would definitely stay here again.

Auburn House Stay

My flyball club rented this house as a home base during a 3 day tournament. There were 9 people and many dogs sharing this roomy house. Everyone was impressed by the cleanliness of the house. The house was great and easy to get around in. The kitchen was spacious as was the living room and the family room. The bedrooms were nice sized. The backyard was huge. Our club is hoping to rent it again next year.

Home away from home

First, the host was very prompt response with questions. The house was very spacious for our large family. It was peaceful, well stocked with all the comforts of home and then some. I wish I had room to say more! We will return.

Mostly worth the money

Big house, lots of space, and nice upgraded bathrooms. Had a few cleanliness issues that owner said was due to a new housekeeper. Hot tub seemed unsafe to use which was disappointing. Local staff seemed to be apologetic and helpful in addressing our issues.

Hi Rochelle, thank you for your feedback! We truly appreciate it, as it helps us continue to improve. We've addressed the cleanliness concerns with our team to ensure this doesn't happen again. Regarding the hot tub, we want to reassure you that it is completely safe and in proper working condition. We understand there may have been concerns about its design, but we can confirm there are no safety issues. We're glad our local staff was able to assist during your stay, and we hope to host you again in the future!

Work in Progress

There is nothing majorly wrong with this house. However, it’s kinda a work progress. Pros: lots of places to sleep Pros: 3 nice bathrooms Pros: quiet Pros: comfy beds Cons: the hot tub - the top is super old and it took two days to get it to 100 degrees. It’s also very small. The kitchen could be much better stocked. It was not dirty - but it was not spotless. When we arrived there were very few towels, 5 forks, and a missing top sheet on one of the beds. There are areas of this house that are super nice - the master bathroom is amazing. However, it looks a little like a work in progress - that’s it has been remodeled a little at a time. The host was very responsive - and it no way was this place terrible. It would need a new hot tub, way more towels, a better stocked kitchen, more blankets and pillows, and stuff like hand soap in the bathrooms for me to give it five stars.

This homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and they would like to clarify the following: - We keep additional towels, kitchen items, and other supplies on-site, and our local Guest Contact is just minutes away and happy to bring extras if needed. We wish we had heard from you during your stay so we could have taken care of this right away. - We regularly maintain the hot tub and appreciate the feedback about the cover and heating time. We’re continuing to evaluate updates to keep the amenity comfortable and enjoyable for guests. Thank you for taking the time the time to leave a review!
