Bella’s Cabin was a treat! Met our needs for our stay perfectly. Comfortable homely and very clean. Away from the crowds this is the perfect little hideaway cabin only a stones throw away from Robetown and all its offerings. We prefer the distance from town as this is what we were looking for. Hosts were fabulous, friendly and very accommodating. Looking forward to our next stay.

Location suited us

A bit over a 1km walk into the main street. Nice and quiet, our dog loved it. Bella the resident hound would pop over to keep an eye on things. Would definitely book again.

Genial Bella's Retreat

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bella's Retreat, so a HUGE "thank you" to our hosts.The clean cabin comfortably catered all our needs and the roof mounted solar panels were a welcome bonus that tickled the greenies in us.The bed made sleeping easy, not to mention the abundant peace and quiet. The shower provided plenty of water pressure and hot water. The A/C easily cooled the cabin, the fridge and freezer were more than adequate, the cooktop and wok did a better job of my stir-fries than my own kit! The Wi-Fi was super-awesome (actually made me a little envious) enabling us to enjoy our many streaming services from my tablet connected to the HDMI port on the TV.Bella, a gorgeous German (Wirehaired?) Pointer was always there to greet us, happily wagging her tail every time we pulled in, and every morning she patiently waited on the porch for us to emerge just so she could say hello.Joy and Claud ensured we had everything we needed, and were incredibly accommodating in helping me find the best spot to mount a camera to shoot time lapse videos of the night sky.Our excursions included: - Cape Jaffa - 90 min Robe Boat Coastal Tour - Robe Obelisk - Beachport Old Wool & Grain Store Museum - Tantanoola Caves - Naracoorte Caves National Park - Mt Gambier Valley Lake and the stunning Blue Lake - Umpherston Sinkhole/Balumbul - Humpalicious Camel Farm - Wangolina winesWe had one day of rain so missed out on taking a dip in Pool Of Siloam - next time!

This was a last minute booking for me and my dog for one night only. I wished we'd had more time to explore Robe and enjoy the peaceful cottage. Claud (and Bella) made us feel very welcome, the cottage is well maintained, clean, with everything required for a comfortable stay.Hope to be back!!

Accommodation with that homely feel.

Had no sooner arrived, than Claude ( also Bella, the dog) was there to welcome us and he gave us useful information on Robe and the area. Good size bedroom with comfy bed and kitchen/living area was well equipped.Located near bushland on edge of Robe and was quiet & peaceful.

Beautiful place to relax after exploring Robe

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is clean and well presented with everything needed for a nice weekend away. The hosts are very friendly, and Bella the dog is a highlight. She came to say hello as soon as we arrived and made sure she checked in on us. Close to the town centre for easy exploring of the Main Street and a good base for driving around and seeing the beautiful beaches.

The best kept secret in Robe!

Bella’s retreat was the most lovely and homely place we have had the pleasure to stay at. From the moment we booked. Claud and Joy, were so friendly and welcoming. Along with their beautiful dog Bella. She was the best. The location was great. We can’t wait to return again. Thanks to you both!

Quiet and peaceful cabin in Robe

The owners were warm, gracious and very welcoming. The cabin had everything we needed and we appreciated the quiet garden surrounds. The cabin was cheery and cosy and we loved the family dog and deep verandah.

Great, quiet bush setting on the edge of town. Lovely hosts made us feel welcome. Well equipped cabin with comfortable bed and everything a couple could need. Only minor downside was no indoor dining table and the couch was a bit lumpy, but over our 4 day stay, we really enjoyed it.

What a lovely place to rest our heads.

We arrived to our stay in Robe, and it was lovely, peaceful, and clean. We were greeted by Bella the house pooch, and she was just a bundle of joy, lots of pats! We let ourselves in, and the house was immaculate. Food & Drinks in the fridge, bed perfect, and entertainment all ready for us. We took our pooch for a walk, and when we arrived home Claud (the owner) was home and we struck up a conversation, he was very welcoming and even accepting of my Tesla car being charged on site, which was a massive stress i didn't have to worry about getting to our next destination. We honestly couldn't recommend Bella's retreat any higher. It was a lovely stay.

Perfectly located bush cabin so close to Robe.

Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated bush cabin 3 minutes from Robe town centre. Couldn't be better for a couple wanting quiet and touches of luxury. We'll be back.

I had a lovely 3 nights at Bella’s Retreat. The cabin had everything needed and is in a beautiful bush setting near the conservation park. Very quiet at night yet only a few minutes to the Main Street. Thank you for a relaxing stay, for all the lovely doggie cuddles with Bella and for making me and my dog feel welcome.
