Welcome to Chalet Lagunak, a haven of peace nestled in the heart of the forest, on top of a mountain where contemporary comfort meets the authenticity of a rustic setting, offering breathtaking panoramas in every season.

As soon as you arrive, you will be greeted by a warm living space, with wooden walls that add an authentic rustic touch. The living room is equipped with a 51-inch TV with the possibility of putting your Netflix, crave, Disney and other credentials, perfect for relaxing evenings with family or friends. You will also find a selection of board games and books for convivial moments.

The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your culinary needs. It includes a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and all the necessary utensils to prepare delicious meals. Guests can also enjoy a barbecue on the outdoor terrace for outdoor grilling.

The chalet has two comfortable bedrooms with queen beds, as well as an open space on the mezzanine with an extra bed. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, providing a relaxing and warm atmosphere. For the little ones, a travel cot with mattress and bed linen is available on request.

The modern bathroom is equipped with a large shower and everything needed for your comfort, including a washing machine and dryer for your laundry needs. Towels and toiletries are provided for your convenience.

Outside, you will be charmed by the natural terrace, ideal for dining or simply relaxing while admiring the panoramic views of the mountains. In the evening, gather around the campfire for unforgettable moments under the stars. Children and pets are welcome, with amenities specially designed for them.

Chalet Lagunak is perfectly located for nature lovers, with many hiking trails, rivers and Mastigouche National Park nearby etc. Whether you're looking to rejuvenate, explore nature, or just relax, our cottage is the perfect place for your next getaway.

📘 A digital guide for arrival will be sent to you before your arrival with all the relevant information on access, chalet facilities, activities, restaurant, etc

👉 Pay only for what you need!
For an additional fee, you can get a cot with mattress on request and if available:PGJyPg�PGJyPg 🍼 towel, dressing gown and high chair,
🪵 buy extra wood in addition to the one provided free of charge.
⏰ ask to arrive earlier and/or leave later,
🐕 bring your pet etc ... (max 2)
All of this will also be available via an external platform to choose and pay for your extras.

🚸 Babies and children:
We welcome families with babies and children. Please note that the chalet is not 100% safe for children with closet locks, socket covers among others. No safety gates on the stairs at the moment.

We provide specific equipment for children, such as a high chair, a cot that converts into a playpen with sheets, games and books.

🪵 Wood:
A small amount of wood will be offered (see photo in the ad). This includes kindling and firelighters to easily start the fire.

You have the option to buy two more quantities of wood with the kindling and fire starters included, which is very useful if you are only staying for a weekend.

If you would like to have a larger quantity of wood, please order it from me a week before your arrival. Payment will be made as soon as you order. This will allow me to place the wood near the chalet for your stay. This is highly recommended, especially if you are staying for more than three nights.

Additional wood will be charged.

Otherwise, you can still buy it in Mandeville or St-Gabriel, but it will be for a smaller quantity and at a higher price!Don't forget to buy kindling and firelighters, which will cost you more, not to mention the time it will take.

🐶 Pets (Additional cost):
2 Pets allowed.
Poop bags are available if you ever forget yours.
Pets are not allowed in the loft of the chalet to avoid going on the beds and are not allowed on the sofa at the ground floor.
Bring their sleep with you, as we do not provide it.
There are two pet bowls for eating and drinking.
For any non-compliance with indoor and outdoor rules regarding pets, a fee will be charged in addition to the pet rate (see House Rules).

🤧 Allergies:
If you are allergic to pets, please note that this cottage can temporarily accommodate pets from previous travellers. You book with full knowledge of the facts. However, we do what is necessary to clean the premises as much as possible to minimise the effects of allergies.

Portable air conditioning is available upstairs from June to September if there is ever a heat wave. Otherwise Grandma's method will be sufficient 👇
The location of the cottage in the middle of the peaceful forest with mature trees naturally provides a cooler atmosphere at night. We advise you to open the windows leaving the mosquito nets in place to create a breeze thanks to the mountain wind. Cool nights will cool the chalet.

🪣 🧹 Cleaning:
The accommodation must be left as clean as it was on arrival. The rest of the laundry cleaning will be at our expense. Additional fees will be claimed via Airbnb if the premises are left in a different condition.
