Escape to Upper Moonridge in this newly built mountain chalet with sweeping views of the mountains, ski slopes and Big Bear Lake. With a private hot tub, putting green and spacious outdoor decks, it's a fun and relaxing retreat for families, friends and guests traveling with dogs.

The Space
This 1,100+ sq. ft. chalet features an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, modern finishes and plenty of natural light. Relax in the living room by the electric fireplace, stream your favorite shows or enjoy some friendly competition with foosball and the retro arcade featuring more than 1,000 games. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and plenty of space for preparing meals, with an adjoining dining area for gathering together.

​​​​​​​Outside, soak in the hot tub, practice your short game on the putting green or unwind beside the gas fire pit while taking in the mountain scenery.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Wash all dishes.
Per City/County ordinance, garbage must be taken by the guest to one of the locations listed on your confirmation.

Great cabin!

Stayed here for the weekend with my family and it was a great cabin. The location was perfect and there were so many amenities included. Big Bear Cool Cabins made it easy to check in and check out, and it was easy contacting them if I had any questions. Overall, it was a great stay.

Great location. Easy access to all you'd want to do in Big Bear, Ski, Town, Lake and Shopping. Definitely a "Cool Cabin." The hot tub was key for end of long days. Kitchen had a nice set up and the outdoor grill was key.

Charming Mountain Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful few-day getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the spectacular views of Snow Summit in a great neighborhood. The layout felt spacious yet intimate, perfect for a small family or a group of friends traveling together. The kitchen was well-stocked and the living spaces were cozy and well-furnished. The added amenities such as the foosball table, hot tub and putting green were a hit with the kids. We definitely recommend and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful Chalet

This home is very beautiful and filled with everything you need! Very clean property with so much to offer. The instructions were helpful and Cool Cabins responded to my questions right away! If I didn't have a dog or was younger, this would be a go to vacation home! As I don't like to complain, I want to let others know about the property I didn't realize. Moonridge Chalet accepts dogs, but it is not a very dog friendly property as there is no fenced in yard and the home is on a slope. It was difficult for our pup to roam and go potty. Also I didn't realize there was no level entrance to the home. You must go up two sets of stairs to get inside the property. (I have knee issues so this was hard for me :)) By the front photo, I thought the driveway went up the side of the home. Again, this property is great! But wanted to give honest feedback about what I didn't realize. Hope this is helpful!
