Everything about my stay was great! The host is warm, welcoming and easy to connect with. The apartment is conveniently located for my visits to family in Hamilton and Dundas. I appreciate how quiet, clean and well- equipped the unit is. It was very comfortable for my month-long stay.

Ted and Lilly were the best guests. They were communicative, friendly and extremely clean. We would definitely love to have them stay in our suite again!

About the host

Hosted by Barbara Kephart

Host profile image
There are two people living on this property, and both are orginally from Ontario, Canada. Barbara lives in the main house and Martha lives in a cottage at the back of the property. We enjoy being co-hosts and getting to know the interesting people who stay in our place.

Our suite is pet friendly. There is a happy dog visiting occasionally and a quiet cat in the upstairs of the house. The litter box and cat's food is in the shared laundry room downstairs. You may not see the cat as she can be shy.

Why they chose this property

The Westdale North neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful, yet walking distance to all amenities. We are also the water and surrounding trails.

"My wife and I recently stayed at Barbara and Martha's delightful Airbnb and couldn't be happier with our experience. From the start, they made us feel welcome and at home. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. Thoughtful touches like wine bottles, local treats, and a detailed area guide made our stay even better. Barbara and Martha were prompt and friendly in their communication, offering great recommendations for local spots. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality set this stay apart. We appreciated their flexibility with check-in and check-out times, which eased our travel plans. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us some of the best sleep we've had. We highly recommend staying with Barbara and Martha. They go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience."

"I very much enjoyed my stay here. I was here for a month and it was well set up for a long stay. The kitchen had everything I needed, it was quiet and comfortable, and it was easy to get where I needed to be. The hosts were amazing, friendly, helpful, and so responsive to questions. I also loved trying to make friends with the cat. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely try to stay here again."
