The Space:
Monto Magic by Tiny Away offers a charming tiny house experience within the well-maintained Monto Caravan and Cabin Park. This peaceful spot is just outside rural Monto and just an hour from Biloela.
The park is surrounded by tranquil gardens and boasts clean amenities—often praised by travelers. Explore nearby highlights like Cania Gorge, the Flying High Bird Park, Capricorn Caves, and the scenic Urangan Pier.
It's a cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities included. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home, communal pool (with 24 hrs prior notice), electric BBQ grill, and laundry facilities including a washer and dryer.
The Neighborhood:
Monto Magic by Tiny Away is set in one of Queensland’s newer towns—Monto, founded in 1924 and just an hour from Biloela. Enjoy classic country hospitality and a hearty meal at one of the two local pubs. Around town, you’ll also find cosy cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, and a mix of local shops to explore.
The great outdoors are calling, just a short drive from Monto! Explore Cania Gorge, where you’ll find stunning cliffs and Aboriginal rock art. Visit Flying High Bird Park, the largest free-flight aviary with over 2,000 birds. Take a walk through the Capricorn Caves for amazing views and a real sense of adventure. Or head to Urangan Pier, where you might spot fish, stingrays, or even dolphins right off the pier!
Getting Around:
By car:
- 500 kms from Brisbane.
- 200 kms from Bundaberg
- 150 kms from Gladstone
Reachable by 2WD and 4WD.
Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is available
- Firewood is provided for communal fire pit
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Smoking is allowed only outside, away from buildings
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees and Spark
- Please note some areas are shared, such as the BBQ grill, chairs, etc.
- Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
