Everything was excellent from start of the booking we were able to make a change without any hesitation. Hannah and her fauther were so nice to deal with and made our stay very peaceful. The house is so charming and the
The farmhouse iwas super spacious, quiet and cozy! John was friendly and happy to share information about anything to do with Wolfville! He is a very attentive host. Thanks John for making our visit to Wolfville a great one!
Pet friendly on the main floor; property is an old working farmhouse with modern amenities. In-floor heating in some rooms with a heat pump, cozy fireplace in one upstairs bedroom and a small wood stove downstairs. Two of the three bedrooms have balconies overlooking part of parlour so limited privacy. Very friendly owner and his pets!
Loved the wood burning fireplace & that John had it burning upon our arrival & again when we returned later from our curling game! Historic home with a very unique layout & narrow steps & areas with unlevel flooring, so walk attentively. Be prepared for a sulphur smell in the water. the smaller bedroom is fully enclosed with a door & separate heat source. As noted, the other 2 larger bedrooms are open to the downstairs area so less private & heat rises up from the sources of heat on the main floor. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. Some areas could use a deeper cleaning. All in all, it met our needs for a 2-night stay for our ladies curling team.
