Richmond Hill is home to this holiday home. Vaughan Mills Mall and Scarborough Town Centre are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Canada's Wonderland and Toronto Zoo. David Dunlap Observatory and The Golf Lounge are also worth visiting.
We were disappointed in the bare bones of the place. When we were booking we didn't pay that close of attention to any details, because we were in a hurry .Didn't find anything comfortable except the washroom mainly the shower. The stope top was in need of thorough cleaning. Because it was so dirty we didn't cook or eat anything there.Wanted to make a cup of tea yet there weren't any cups or mugs, so we purchased 2
The place is perfect I would check it out first for most for my next trip before checking any places Clean, quiet, everything is there in case you need to make snacks no word to explain how good is that place
Other than an unexpected broken bannister rail on the steps to the basement room, this was a nice, quiet, clean space. Marble floors and modern shower.
Bring your own towels and washcloths. The basement smells odd and has very small windows. Otherwise, it was clean and the accommodations were sufficient.

Host was rude and unreasonable, possibly had other motivations behind making us leave in the middle of the night, but we'll never know. We communicated that we would arrive late due to work (and even communicated updates on ETA as we were driving) and were told we could just ring the doorbell for the keys, but when we did we were met with inconsideration and impatience. We said "hello, how are you? " to which he responded that he preferred not to have contact or respond. Then after parking the car where he told us to, he stated that "if we weren't happy we could leave." After addressing his rude tone and behavior he said the booking was canceled and he walked back to his door, we had to drive all the way back home in the middle of the night, starting my boyfriend's birthday off with a bad taste in our mouths and ruining our plans to go to Canada's Wonderland. I cant accurately review the interior of the location as we never made it inside. But this host is one you should skip over.

Response from VrboOwner on 9 Sept, 2025
The booking was canceled due to safety concerns. They did communicate at 6 pm and mentioned that you had 2 hours to reach here and I confirmed ring main doorbell for keys and then you showed up after midnight close to 1 am drunk or high after 5 hours and expecting the keys .
If somebody would let you in in this , it would be strange of course
On the other hand it is completely unacceptable from Vrbo to let somebody who did not stay in any place to leave a review
Anyhow at the end of the day you will be treated in a way you treat people

The stay got off to a rocky start when the host messaged, asking where we were from and why we were in town, seemingly to ensure we weren't throwing a party. A simple reminder about their no-party policy would've been less intrusive. The check-in/out process was also uncomfortable, requiring us to arrange a specific time with the owner to hand over the keys, making me glad our flights were on time.Despite these issues, the owner was professional and quick to respond to questions. The apartment itself is a sparse basement unit. The bed was very hard, and my wife had trouble sleeping. We could also easily hear the occupants upstairs in the morning. While the bathroom was remodeled, the mirror was quite dirty, and old bars of soap were left by previous guests. The concrete steps leading to the unit are hazardous; the light only turns on halfway down and turns off in seconds. The owner provided two worn-out towels that looked like family hand-me-downs and no washcloths.Guests have no control over the AC, as the unit is likely in the main house. We also had to contact the owner for the Wi-Fi password since no instructions were provided, a major inconvenience given the lack of cell service in the basement. The Wi-Fi appears to be the owner's home network, posing a security risk.
