Exactly what I needed and was expecting - quiet, calm, beautiful scenery, comfortable bed, a short drive to the beach. Beware of the cute elderly dog Tank who will visit you. Tank has been deprived of belly rubs his whole entire life and you may be the only person who can remedy this.

Tranquil holiday retreat.

The hostess was friendly, grway communication, a lovely, peaceful propety. Warm cabin, tranquil place with the beautiful countryside to relax. A great place to unwind away from lifes other distractions, chill and enjoy the views and ambience. Loved it! Thank you.

Peace and quiet in the country!

We had a lovely stay in Porongahau. Katrina’s place was great for us to chill and take in the fresh country air, with visits from Tank the friendly dog and a lovely horse to pat. The Bach is very rustic, with an attached compost toilet and a gas heated hose for a shower, which added to the adventure and country charm! Katrina was a great host and very friendly.One thing that the place would benefit from is some curtains. Other than that - it was a great stay :)

I love this place. People often ask me why I moved out here.... because I can breathe lol it's beautiful 😍 you will often have the beach to yourself and can hear it from here on a still night.
I love the countryside, the quietness, It's a beautiful place to BE, reconnect recharge, reinvent yourself

What makes this property unique

I've been developing this bareblock of land on my own for 4 years to become more self sufficient, off grid, living a more quality life, ive setup a gym in a barn, do wellness coaching, massage therapy and work with people and animals.
Its tranquil with the most stunning views of the hills and only 5 minutes from the beach
