The accommodation overall is nice looking and clean. However, you need to ensure that you know what you’re getting. The advertisement online says that you will have the entire place to yourself- this completely incorrect. We were disappointed to arrive and have the owners living in the front of the property and other travellers accessing another part of the house at the back. We had a tiny room stuck in the middle called ‘The Classic’. We could only fit one suitcase in the room. We had access to a BBQ where the ad said all utensils would be provided but there was nothing. The owners didn’t even take the covers off the outdoor furniture or provide the umbrellas on the deck. It felt like they were discouraging us from using their items. There is no soundproofing between our bedroom and the rooms next door. We could hear everything the family of four next door were saying, including their toddler staying up late crying during the night. From having thought we were getting this whole house to ourselves to be squished into a tiny bedroom with a bathroom, we felt completely misled and played. We ended up leaving a night early to get our much-needed privacy. Please read the fine print carefully so you’re not taken for a ride.
