Let's start with the location, absolutely amazing. Watching the sun set into the Indian Ocean from the veranda every evening was something we never grew tired of. Yanchep beach and lagoon on the doorstep was the cherry on the cake. The Host responded to any question we had and was always helpful.As for things to do, there are plenty of great places to see locally. The National Park, Caves, Koala Board Walk, Gravity Discovery Centre to name a few. Just down the coast was the towns of Hillary's, Scarborough Beach and Fremantle Market - with it's great selection of street food. All well worth a visit. From Hillary's you can get the fast ferry over to Rottnest Island. Hire some bikes and it's a great day out. The metro from Perth to Yanchep runs regulary and costs pennies compared to the UK. Overall, it was a great choice and would recommend.
