Welcomed to our cozy cabin! Newly built home with a classic A-line frame we have all the amenities your are looking for in a refreshing get away. Located in magnificent pines & cedars of Pollock Pines close to Jenkinson Lake in the Sierra Mountains the trees are bountiful & the mountain air is relaxing & refreshing! Please no smoking of any king inside the house No parties Quite time is after 10:00 PM

Our cabin is cozy year around! We are near Apple Hill, several vineyards/wineries, the beautiful Jenkinson lake, Sly Park Recreation Area, among other fun attractions! We have a little something for everyone all year around!
Our cabin in newly built as of December 2019! As our first guest we are looking forward to making your stay as memorable as possible. We fell in love with the beautiful scenery, fresh air, and rustic feeling of the land and hope you will too! Our cabin is great place for a romantic getaway with families or friends! It has a beautiful master bedroom with its own porch access where you can sit and enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate while it snows! Two private guest bedrooms, both with a view of the beautiful scenery! All three of the bathrooms are newly built with modern appliances and stone tiles. Feel free to enjoy a hyrdomassage in the tub while you sip a cup of tea! Our kitchen is stocked with all the essential tableware you will need to prepare and enjoy a steamy family dinner! Inspired by the rustic outdoors, our cabin features a cozy loft where you can enjoy a view of the outdoors and the architecture of our home! Last but not least, our living space is spacious to say the least!

For those who just can’t leave technology at home we have complimentary WIFI as well as a smart TV! Unfortunately there is no cable tv programs but you are able to watch Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Youtube, and various other online sites on our Smart TV.

Just a mear 2 miles away is the spectacular Sly Park Recreation Area with the sparkiling Jenkinson Lake. It has 645 acres of surface water and great fishing or a day of water skiing! The lake has a boat launch and a boat rental facility (kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and row boats available). In the winter, you may go on breathtaking hikes, snowshoeing, sledding or just play in the snow piled up around our own property!

Our cabin has ample parking in the garage and in front of the property. Feel free to bring your own boat and as many cars as you please! Come & enjoy the relaxation and smells of the pines after a day of adventure and fun!

Good place

We stayed here while attending a wedding in the area. The check in process was super easy. There are no crazy tasks for checking out (like some properties). The property is decent, located in a quiet neighborhood. The internet dropped regularly, but was usuable. There is a nice kitchen, and everything was decently stocked

Beautiful and comfortable

We had such a wonderful weekend in the snow! The house is gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The wood stove and great heating system kept us nice and toasty! We were six adults and 4 kids ages 3-8 and the amount of space was just perfect. The kids had a blast sleeping in the loft and playing out front in the snow. The owners were very attentive and kind. They even helped to shovel the driveway so we could get out of the garage when is was time to leave. We are definitely planning another stay!

Absolutely Wonderful

This property was absolutely wonderful! The host was exceptional! She was so quick to respond and was very attentive to our needs. This was a last minute decision to rent this cabin since our plans drastically changed due to the weather but now this will be my go to property to stay. This kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The house was very clean. It’s such a short distance to the lake and the neighbors are so kind! Best VRBO stay that I’ve ever had.

Cozy spot

Good spacious spot. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. Couple things that could have been a little better. Cleaning of the fridge. Spices need updating and maybe adding a blender would be a great touch. None of the locks on the bedrooms/ bathrooms worked but overall good stay!!

Nice House, Poorly Furnished, Bathroom danger

The inside of the Property was overall nice but with a few walls showing unmended damage spots. But what was missing was furniture in the bedrooms. There were no dressers so you had to live out of your suitcase. There was only one nightstand and lamp in the master bedroom, none in the other bedrooms. This issues was raised two years ago on another site, which we discovered after starting our stay. The freezer and ice maker did not work, which we discovered when our ice cream and ice melted. The bathroom door knob in the master bathroom did not work from the inside resulting in a member getting stuck inside until someone let them out from the outside. Outdoor furniture is in the garage.

Great place and location

We were pleased with the location and layout of the house. We enjoyed that our group of six sat comfortably in the living room to visit. We cooked all of our meals on site. However, we were disappointed that the BBQ was not working. Spices should be updated or tell renters to bring their own. Kitchen utensils were adequate, knives needed sharpening and bring your own tongs. There was leftover product from other renters in the bathroom leaving little room for shampoo provided. Small bar soap would be a nice addition to have to go with the provided shampoo. A full length mirror in one of the bedrooms would be delightful. Thanks for providing an iron but an ironing board would have been great.

Great place for large groups

Very nice property that accommodated all 6 of us. It was nice that there were additional blankets to use for watching Netflix on the couch. Coffee maker worked and there was ground coffee and sugar provided. We also were unsure about shampoo and soaps so we bought some before checking in, but there were a ton already there. Overall, great place to stay for friends and/or family.

Weekend in Pollock Pines

Overall the house was great. No complaints other than one of the beds in the loft was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Thanks for helping us have a memorable weekend.

Great place to stay outside of Placerville and closer to the mountains.

Some of the kitchen utensils were lacking. There was no salad spinner or a strainer. We normally make spaghetti but would not have been able to drain the pasta.

Great Stay

Such a gorgeous house up in the mountains. The house was very clean and comfortable. Nice big open space to gather with the family. All rooms were perfect and nice bathrooms. Lake was nearby and Safeway down the mountain if needed. Great weekend getaway. Kitchen well equipped for our needs. There is not a coffee grinder (we accidently brought coffee beans!) but Safeway was close by :) Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home Away From Home!

We loved our stay! Everything to make your stay cozy and welcoming is available at the house. Only an hour from Tahoe and 40 minutes to a snow park and right down the street from the lake. We will be back again. We found the perfect home away from home!

Cozy and charming!

We loved our 3 night stay in this home! It was cozy with the wood burning fire heating up the home. We took full advantage of the kitchen and made our thanksgiving special. The house is very clean and up to date.
