Small clean studio in a great location. Appreciated Justin's allowing an early check in . A little tricky to find as the vine's foliage now envelops most of the frontage so not as recognisable as the photo. Recommend a visit to the National Arboretum if you like trees and views
Unfortunately the apartment condition did not match the photos, or description. The apartment has great potential but is very tired at this point and needing attention. The teflon pots and pans are scratched to the point that they are unsafe. There was black mold in the bathroom ceiling, spiders in the cupboards and bathroom. There are no fly screens - so no fresh air without mosquitoes - and very hot/stuffy upstairsOne roller blind is missing affecting privacyThe listing is misleading as it says there is parking but there is only street parking which has 2 and 3 hour limits. The host would not communicate after asking for feedback.

About the host
Hosted by Justin
I’m passionate about creating beautiful, welcoming spaces that make guests feel at home. With a background in architecture and property development, I love designing stays that blend style, comfort, and functionality.
Hosting is more than just providing a place to sleep—it’s about creating an experience that guests will remember. I enjoy sharing my space and hearing about the people who come through—whether they’re visiting for work, a weekend escape, or a special occasion.
Why they chose this property
Forrest is one of Canberra’s most sought-after neighborhoods—peaceful, tree-lined, and just a stone’s throw from the Parliamentary Triangle and Manuka’s cafes and boutiques.
I love how this area offers the best of both worlds: a quiet retreat surrounded by greenery while still being incredibly central. Whether you’re into fine dining, morning walks in Telopea Park, or exploring the city’s cultural attractions, Forrest puts you right in the heart of it all.
What makes this property unique
This award-winning architectural loft is a blend of modern design and nature. Fully stand-alone, it offers complete privacy and tranquility, yet is flooded with natural light thanks to its expansive windows.
Lush greenery and creeping vines create a sense of seclusion while still letting the outside in. Thoughtfully designed with high-end finishes and all the amenities you need, it’s a space that feels both luxurious and homely—a perfect escape in the heart of Canberra.
