The only bungalow out of the five with its own private walkway! Extra housekeeping now available as well as special catered in bungalow dining (Must be booked well in advance)! COMPARE OUR RATES TO THE RESORTS. The Black Pearl is our most Luxurious Bungalow. Truly, the most beautiful privately owned over water home in all of French Polynesia... A gorgeous covered terrace, overlooking the lagoon and palm covered islands, just a few hundred yards away, is fully furnished with quality outdoor furniture and gas barbecue, DOUBLE KAYAK and NESPRESSO machine. NOW WITH NETFLIX!! Here you can enjoy many wonderful hours -- reading a good book, marveling at the natural beauty of the area, or just doing nothing. If you wish to take a dip in the warm waters, nothing could be simpler. Just go down four steps on your private dock and dive in. Right there you can snorkel for hours, check out the thousands of colorful fish in and around the coral reef, or just lie on the beach under a palm tree, while sipping a Tahitian punch.

Please note, that we can help set up tours for you: Authentic Tahitian Motu picnics, Polynesian weddings, Jet skis, shark and manta ray feed, sunset sailing, scuba diving, island jeep and snorkeling tours, even a tattoo with a Tahitian master!

Additional info: Our over water home is the perfect location for snorkeling, walking hiking and swimming and the bungalow comes with two kayaks. Paradise surrounds you.
If you need help with rental cars, international or domestic flights, we can help with that too. We have many returnees and we are confident that this will be your vacation of a lifetime! Our rates are very affordable, especially if you've checked out the prices of some of the 4 and 5 star hotels on the island. Our home is a true travel bargain. Every detail is exquisite. We have a 40 inch flat screen smart TV... High speed internet and wifi... Bathtub, Walk in shower. This is a luxurious as it gets.

Spectacular stay-we didn’t leave the bungalow except for going out to eat. We just sat on the back balcony and stared at water, watched boats, planes, while reading and being present. Perfect stay for couples that like and love each other

Great stay! On the quiet part of the island (about a 15 minute drive from the main town area). Nice house with a working AC. Not really luxurious, but it is a great place to stay for a great price point. Highly recommend a car or scooter if you're staying here. Clean upon arrival and the check in process was simple. The hosts gave us a phone to use during our stay and they were quick to respond to all inquiries. The BBQ grill was fantastic. We used it a few times and cooked meals at home. The area immediately around the bungalow isn't all that great for snorkeling due to depth of water and a lot of boat traffic. It's quiet and a nice experience. Bring a Fire Stick for the TV if you want apps other than Netflix. WiFi was great. Bathroom was spacious and has great water pressure and hot water. No issues at all during our stay. Beautiful view from the back porch staring at the blue water in the distance.

We've never experienced a total relaxation immersion as the Black Pearl overwater bungalow. It is totally private and is heaven on earth. Going to sleep with a trade wind and lapping coral bay and waking to a rising sun and massaging trade wind is magic. We will definitely rebook.

Best place to stay with easy access to the water. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Lots of activities are avaliable as well. The bungalow was exceptional. A grill on the back patio as well as a kayak to paddle arpund in.

Wonderful stay!

We celebrated our anniversary here, and enjoyed it very much. The local managers were extremely helpful when checking in and out, and we would definitely recommend renting the car you will need directly from them. Overall a wonderful stay.

Wonderful vacation

Everything about this place was fantastic. We loved it from start to finish. The only problem was that it was our time here was too short. Swimming right off the dock was a favourite for us, the area was quiet and peaceful, and Nir was so helpful.

My new husband and I spent our honeymoon here. Not only was booking with Richard easy, the entire trip was made simple and the bungalow was better than what we imagined. If we ever make it back we will definitely be booking with Richard again and we will be suggesting this stay to all of our loved ones.

Fantastic!!!!

This was our dream retirement trip, and we booked this overwater bungalow a year in advance to stay two weeks. We completely loved staying here!!! It was very private and spacious and beautiful and well-equipped. Nir was also fantastic - we communicated before and during our stay. He was always very friendly, quick to respond, and his recommendations were great! You will need a car to stay here. We rented a car from Nir, and he made it so easy & convenient! (Plan ahead to bring local XPF currency for that). The coral and fish directly around the bungalow were unbelievably beautiful! We spent many hours in the water right there. Sometimes the water was so clear that we didn't even need to get in to watch the fish! We used the bungalow's kayak and paddled out to the motu, which was fun & gorgeous! There is so much to watch just while relaxing on the back deck of the bungalow- ferries, planes, tour boats, kayaks, etc. This is a great place to relax, have fun, and enjoy all that Bora Bora has to offer! My husband & I highly recommend it, without hesitation!

Perfect location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Black Pearl OWB. The location is great -- you can watch both sun rise and sunset! We took lots of nice pictures. And of ciyrse snorkeling, kayaking every day. I saw someone digging out a huge octopus right under the deck! Also a shark swam by one day.

Amazing stay

The bungalow was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. So very relaxing, we spent hours on the deck just watching the boats and fish go by. We snorkeled right off the dock. If you go off to the right when you are facing the ocean there are fish. The excursion boats were able to pick us up and drop us off at the dock. Tom was great and very helpful. Would stay here again.

A little Paradise

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in the 'Black Pearl" Bungalow. It was beautifully decorated and had all the most updated appliances we could ask for. The BBQ was great!We loved that the air conditioning covered the entire bungalow. It was fantastic to step into the water off of the private landing. Our dock was a private entrance and we loved that entire privacy of this bungalow.The road behind us was noisy ,however this was the only small issue.The property manager "NIR" was fabulous ! He gave us a phone to use and we called him for any questions. He was so happy to help us and organized a private snorkle tour for us which was the most amazing experience we had. We followed some Manta Rays. We highly recommend this VROB if you want a private bungalow and local experience in the real Bora Bora.

Our time in paradise

Very nice overwater bungalow—one of the best we’ve stayed in. Very comfortable and lots of beautiful fish right below us, like having our own aquarium. Was a little noisy in the morning with both street and water traffic, but nothing we couldn’t live with. Lots of good restaurants nearby, and parrot fish is our new favorite fish. Nir was wonderful to work with. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Awesome over water bungalow!

The resorts we wanted were over $2000/night so we gladly discovered the Black Pearl. Zero complaints and we loved our 4 night stay and all the photos we took. We will definitely be back in the next 5 years. Nir and Tiare were excellent and the rental car was also the best price, automatic and with AC. Thank you!

Thanks, Richard, for your awesome place and location. Debbie and I really enjoyed the stay, location, and community hospitality. The whole process went awesome with no glitches. Nir and his wife also di an awesome job with check-in, area excursions, setting us up with contact information, etc. We do recommend this place for anyone who loves relaxation, scenery, and culture.
