Alamanda Estate comprises a beautifully styled 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with open-plan living, polished timber floors, and a fully equipped kitchen at the heart of the home. Wide wraparound timber decks create a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, leading to a stunning infinity pool and a large covered entertaining pavilion—ideal for long lunches, sunset drinks, or relaxed dinners by the pool.



The Studio Retreat is a self-contained, beautifully-styled, luxury hideaway with a queen bed, ensuite, kitchenette, and private deck overlooking the canefields and Coral Sea. Perfect for a quiet escape, it offers comfort and privacy.



You'll enjoy sole use of the property and enjoy the special touches that make this place unique: Private Adults Retreat, Pizza Oven, Infinity Pool, Firepit, Outdoor Dining area, full wrap-around deck, large garden and beautiful views.

For bookings of up to 4 guests, you'll enjoy exclusive use of the main cottage. If you’d like to include the separate retreat cottage for additional space or privacy, extra fees apply.

Alamanda Estate is tucked away just outside Port Douglas, surrounded by tranquil rainforest and rolling canefields. It’s a peaceful, private escape, yet conveniently located—with the nearest supermarket just a 15-minute walk or a quick 3-minute drive away. During your stay, you’ll have the entire property to yourself—perfect for unwinding, exploring, and soaking up the beauty of the tropics at your own pace.



Getting Around:

For your convenience, it’s highly recommended to have a vehicle during your stay at Alamanda Estate. The property is located about 8km from the town center of Port Douglas, which is approximately an 8-minute drive. While the cottage offers a peaceful, secluded atmosphere, having a car makes it easy to explore the nearby beaches, restaurants, shops, and attractions. If you prefer not to drive, taxi and shuttle services are available in the area, but a vehicle provides the most flexibility and ease during your stay.

Enjoy views of the Coral Sea while spotting Sun-Birds (you might even find a nest on the property), Azure Kingfishers, Victoria's Riflebird (one of only 4x Native Australian Bird of Paradise species), Golden-shouldered Parrot, Palm Cockatoo, and more!

This property can be used as a wedding venue with Port Douglas Weddings & Hire or Uptown Hire only.
