I wished the owner had contacted at the beginning of travel day. The notice came in as I was driving down what needed to be submitted last minute. It was lucky that we stopped so I could check my email.It was clean, could have been a bit more. It was a short trip for an event. Place was quiet. Pictures were a good representation of the place.

Super super nice house and host communication was excellent……until the A/C went out. One attempt by the host to reprogram the thermostat (which didn’t work) and then I got absolutely no response from that point forward. I can understand that things happen but I never got so much as an apology for the inconvenience or anything. For 253 per day, that’s a complete disgrace. I would have rated this place 5 stars across the board even with the issue but there’s no reasonable excuse for not communicating with me better.

We're glad the house itself made such a strong impression, and we're sorry the A/C issue and the communication around it fell short of that experience. We had a repairman out the next day, and the diagnosis showed the outside unit had frozen. We understand the frustration with not hearing back promptly, and we regret that gap in communication. To help prevent this from happening again, we're now posting clear directions for setting the thermostat. We appreciate the feedback and want every guest to feel supported throughout their stay.
