big house, lovely garden, wonderful setting

This is a simple, but amazingly situated holiday house. Its greatest feature is the huge walled garden, a real oasis of calm literally a stone's throw from the bustle of the La Flotte harbour. We parked the car in the garden and never touched it again, going everywhere on foot and by bike. The house isn't exactly modern, although some improvements have been made (new kitchen, decorated bedrooms, and the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in) but it really worked for us - a family group of 6 with teenagers / young adults. We were met by Patrick on arrival, who was charming and very helpful, and the contact with the owner was excellent too - looking to help and improve. All in all, a good address for a family holiday on Ile de Re. Would recommend!

La maison n’est pas loin du centre ,avec un grand jardin . Les chambres sont bien , il y a une grande salle à manger.

La Flotte

We had a super stay at La Flotte. We really enjoyed the house and it’s facilities - a little bit dated and quirky but we were fine with that and would recommend it. A couple of issues needed addressing during our stay but the owner was very quick at responding and sorting things out - really excellent communication. A fantastic location and we only used our car once in two weeks - hired bikes and cycled all the other days. We would definitely return.

L'emplacement idéal

Que demander de mieux qu'un emplacement en plein centre de La Flotte? Cette maison est réellement idéalement située et à quelques minutes (secondes?) des commerces, du marché etc... Confortable, calme et un accueil convivial et vraiment agréable . Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation

Très agréable séjour. Un retour en arrière très agréable de nos vacances des années 70. :)) De plus proximité immédiate des commerces et de la mer. Vaste jardin au calme et accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. A gouter sans modération !!!

Perfekt gelegenes Haus mit riesigem Garten

Das Haus mit dem riesegen Grundstück beeindruckte uns dierekt und war in den kleinen Gassen nicht so zu erwarten. Wir lebten sehr zentral und absolut ruhig. Hatten eine sehr große Terrasse zum Entspannen und ein freistehendes Haus in einem schönen Garten. Das Haus versprüht den Charme der 70iger Jahre inkl. der Farbgebung der Sanitäranlage - der Garten entschädigte uns für alles. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Natascha und Bernd
